I would have to agree with Mecca, in terms of this voting. It was best to build your team in every aspect.

Building a team with all vets or all rooks i don't think will get the upper hand. Having a nice mix usually is a solid way to build a team.

Head Coach: Stan Van Gundy
PG: Ricky Rubio/ George Hill/Foye
SG: Nick Young / Lou Williams/Foye
SF: Andrei Kirilenko/Corey Maggette
PF: Carlo Boozer/ Thaddeus Young
C : Chris Kaman/Brendan Haywood

Overall I think this team was poorly built. Not sure what the team is going for here. Can they compete for a title? Most likely no. The team lacks shooting, defense in 4 out of 5 starting positions, a true point guard for half the season, big men who can play big minutes without having recent injury history and a whole bunch of players that need the ball in their hands.

Without Rubio can Lou Williams carry this team as the point guard? I love Lou and this he is a perfect backup scorer, but I do not feel that is the best role for him. I think he's more of a 6'1" combo guard. You coupled that on the bench with a 6'2" SG in George Hill and a 6'3" CG in Randy Foye.

Also in the starting rotation who can shoot the 3? Is Nick Young supposed to be the only real dangerous outside threat? Rubio can do it a bit but he is just okay at it. most teams will crowd the paint and double team your post men (the only way I see offense coming from this team). Bench-wise you got some players that can score, but again lack the amount of shooters that will help spread the court. I can't see 2 of Lou Williams, George Hill, Randy Foye playing on the court together for defensive and lack of point guard purposes. Those are some of your best three point shooters and you can't really play them together to spread the court.

Big men wise, all of your true PF/C have a bad injury history and none of them has played 30 or over minutes a night last year. I feel that is a very combustible position to put yourself in. I love Thaddeus Young and his ability but he is not a good fit for your team. He fits the Stan Van system, but he seems like a duplicate of what your front court looks like. Bad shooting from long range, best work comes inside.

If you want my advice, I'd move Kirilenko for more of a Batum type player. Someone who can shoot from long range and play some defense. I'd get another big man to have as insurance and get a true backup point guard. I think your team has some pieces that can make you a good team, but mostly I see bad fits and its lacking the talent to be a true contender. Why pick Rubio who wont play for half the season and then commence to pick up a team that is supposed to win now? Also since you don't really have a now-superstar on your team, if I was you I wouldve built for the future. Rubio is a tremendous future piece.

Gotta disagree with you on some points. I can see the direction he is goin in personally.

You said 4/5 are bad defensive players which i disagree with.

Rubio is a great defender, probably top 5 at his position. Nick Young is an average defender. Kiriliko is a very good defender, Boozer sucks and Kaman is a pretty decent defender as well. Hes got 3 good defenders and 1 ok defender in his lineup. Rubio has a PnR guy in Boozer and a 7 footer who can finish around the basket and hit the mid range jumper. Young is a very good shooter and will spread the floor.

i like that he has 1 athletic/defensive F off the bench and one scoring F off the bench, the same with his guards. Lou is a good 6th man but has been pretty inconsistant with his scoring % over his career. Still a good option off the bench. Hill is a nice penetrating/shooting/defensive guard, but doesnt have much PG skills and cant really run an offense effectively.

I didnt get the Foye pick, unless your banking on Rubio being injured. Haywood is a nice option as a backup.

I think you did a pretty solid job surrounding Rubio, Not quite sure if i like SVG as the coach of your team. You traded away a pick for him, which there was and still are better options for your team as a HC.

I think your a playoff team, but not one that will win a championship. I would have liked to see you go with some more youth building around Rubio, a lot of older/veteran players on your team. Once they wash up or start declining its going to be tough for you to start from scratch.

NetsFan, awesome defensive team, and good offensive team, I don't like your bench, I think you should look to upgrade at PF a little, but you're a contender, and you can build something with Teague and Burks, mostly vet team, but you have those two, your salary is fine as only LeBron and Chandler make that up, so you have a little bit of everything going.

Thanks! Can't say I disagree with anything. Ty Hans was the best and youngest PF I could get when I picked him. I gotta say though, Bass is really really an awesome player and you're underrating him.

Utah Jazz:

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Courtney Lee
SF: Gordon Hayward/Mike Dunleavy
PF: Kevin Love
C: Tiago Splitter

The CP3-Love dynamic is.. interesting. And lethal. CP3 turned his last stretch four into a STUD (David West). Cool stuff.

I'm worried about your bench.. a lot. It's getting late in the draft. Courtney Lee is a nice player but is he starter material? Must admit, don't know too much about him.

Your front line is also SOFT. Maybe look to package Tiago and Dunleavy/Hayward for someone a bit more.. ballsy down low.

Easily a contending team. A nice blend of vets, youth, and talent.

Yeah pretty much right. I just realized that for the most part I built my team exactly like the Jazz would.

This is pretty much what I see my team as. I knew I wasnt going to be a contender at pick 20 anyway without swinging a big trade and I didnt want to risk it. I think I have a good playoff team that would be a lot of fun to watch like the Nuggets but probably not gonna win the conference barring a crazy run. Also didnt want to go with the youth movement thing because there are too many question marks I feel like people onhere take everything for granted. I personally amnot going to assume any player who hasnt played a game yet can hold down a rotational position.

I wouldn't consider tiago splitter soft...he is a pretty tough kid and a pretty good defender.

Problem I see with fury is (depth) that is obvious and there is no one on that team that alter shots. Shotblocking/Athleticism could be an issue.

CP3 in the pick and roll with Splitter setting the pick with Love and Lee stretching the defense out and Hayward as a backdoor cutter though is a lether tough to stop offensive strategy.
