OT....Jeremy lin on who he's watched on film to get better.....
"I’ve watched everybody and some of the names might be shocking, but the thing is every point guard does something better than me, so the key is learning from whatever that is. Players that I’ve watched – the obvious ones: Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Steve Nash, John Stockton, Gary Payton. And then you can go on to the ones who have very specialized skills: Juan Carlos Navarro and then Chris Duhon and Raymond Felton. They do things that are really, really good and better than me that other people might not see."

Yes, worst trade in NBA history, and he's right. It did get a little worse knowing that we traded for injured players.

While some of the following are draft night blunders, the others involved a trade of an established superstar

Philly trades Charles Barkley and a 2nd round pick to Phoenix for Jeff Hornacek, Andrew Lang, Tim Perry and zero picks.

Charlotte trades Kobe Bryant to Lakers for Vlade Divac and no picks.

Sixers trade Wilt Chamberlain to the Lakers for Jerry Chambers, Archie Clark, and Darrall Imhoff.

Bucks trade Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Walt Wesley to Lakers for Junior Bridgeman, Dave Meyers, Elmore Smith, and Brian Winters (and no picks)

Hawks trade Bill Russell to Celtics for Cliff Hagan and Ed Macauley.

Bucks trade Dirk Nowitzki and Pat Garrity to Mavs for Robert Traylor.

Nets trade Julius Erving to 76ers for cash.

Golden State sends Robert Parish and Kevin Mchale(draft rights) to Boston for the draft rights to Joe Barry Carroll and Rickey Brown.

Seattle trades the rights to Scottie Pippen to the Bulls for the rights to Olden Polynice.

Warriors trade Wilt Chamberlain to 76ers for Paul Neumann, Connie Dierking, Lee Shaffer and cash in 1965.

Utah trades Dominique Wilkins to the Hawks for John Drew and Freeman Williams

The thing with Moe is that he may arrive sooner than later. Moe is young and if he's determined quite possibly could heal quicker than he was told.

I saw this posted on another board.

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/48962/lakers-may-not-gain-most-from-howard-deal

The Nuggets upgraded their defense by trading Arron Afflalo and Al Harrington and acquiring Iguodala. That was an area of need after allowing the 5th-most points per play in the NBA last season. Last season, 113 players defended at least 50 plays and Afflalo was the worst among them in terms of points per play allowed. Harrington ranked 54th. Iguodala ranked 10th, holding opponents to 37 percent shooting.

That's not a very good sign. It's probably because he was focusing on offense? :dontknow:

He'll be traded in a year or two anyways. Hopefully he can turn the defense around and teach the young ones his work ethic while he's here. That's his biggest asset to the future roster.
