If he was a center he wouldn't have been traded to make room for Love ;)

This conversation took place during his entire time here. I call him a PF for my vote because both coaches he played for tried to find a center to pair with him. He started opposite small (in height) forwards like Craiger, Gomes, Brewer, etc., to get the must talent on the floor. When needed or possible, though, he started a lot of games at PF with less talented bodies such as Hollins, Darko, Ratliff, and Doleac just to get a center out with him.

To be fair, those guys combined for about 14 starts Jefferson's first two seasons with the team (while healthy).
Jefferson then went on to Utah, where he also plays center.

I think part of the disconnect comes from being traded for a legendary PF. He was deemed Garnett's replacement... the team might have said this or that... but I go by what actually took place on the court.

And Jefferson played the vast majority of his Wolves career as the 5.
