I will be cheering to lose. Cheering for the young guys to show their flashes of brilliance. Cheering for Afflalo to take the lead this season. Cheering for our garbage players to boost their trade value. Cheering for more smart trades. That's it. I won't be cheering to win.

This probably belongs in a new OT thread, but meh... I'm not really in the mood. The Rockets GM Daryl Morey is doing a AMA (ask me anything) on reddit right now. Might be over, but in either case it's an interesting read. He ignored the Dwight question just as an fyi.

that's pretty cool that fans can get personal with their favorite team's GM in that setting.

I'd do anything to have Rob answer some questions from fans, truthfully.

After looking at many videos of this year's draft prospects, baring a big surprise, I think it may be best that our vets play very well to raise trade value. This may be a VERY weak draft.

Yeah, but you know what Henny would say. "We have a process." "We follow our process." The man is a closed book.

Of course he will. He's on the Lakers. He'll have a brand new array of post moves and a soft touch that only LA staff could have possibly taught him. They'll be exactly the same moves he did while on Orlando but we'll just overlook that.

LOL. The college season hasn't even started yet. Nobody knew Damian Lillard this time last year.

Besides, we don't care about the depth of the draft as much as we care about getting one of the elite prospects.

He's definitely going to look better, but i doubt it will be because he's improved his game. Having a HOF PG who can find you in the right places, and a HOF wing and Pau Gasol keeping defences honest, he's going to be making everything much easier than it ever did in Orlando.

Mike Brown certainly won't be doing anything to draw up good plays for him though. lol.

Dwight's numbers will be down across the board....it's not going to be a quick fit imo.....going to take some time....Dwight isn't the man anymore.....it's not going to be a 4 out 1 in offense.....Dwight in the Princeton offense will be something to see....especially since Dwight isn't the greatest passer.....

When did Lillard become the next superstar PG? I also said "baring a big surprise"; something like Shabazz actually becoming more than a chucker, Noel developing some form of offense, Zeller becoming a banger, other player coming out and lighting it up like Durant or Carmelo. I just don't see surefire superstars from the highly touted players. Now, I've only seen the top 20 players or so (through scouting videos and/or complete college games) but I'm not that impressed. My point is that I don't see much "elite" out of any of the "elite prospects" so far. They all seem more like specialists than complete players (slashers/scorers/defenders/etc). What's so "LOL" about that?

It's funny because you already assume to know that this is going to be a draft that won't help us. That's why you call it a weak draft and that's why you hope our vets raise their trade value... because the draft won't offer us a strong enough player to help us.

With you questioning all the talent, I take it you don't think any of them are good enough to help us, right? To me, that's LOL'able. Come draft time, there will be players who we should want pretty badly. I'm damn sure of that.

I don't know, I see a lot of Michael Beasley type of talent. Could it help? Sure but I would rather the vets play well enough to be able to trade them for more future picks. Like you said though, the college season hasn't even begun so who knows but just from what I've seen so far, I'm not that impressed.

What a shocker. Thought he wasn't healthy enough to start the season, but now all of a sudden he's completely healthy? Lying ass *****.
