I think Harrison Barnes will start at SF, with Draymond Green and Jefferson on the backup... Brandon Rush is a backup SG to Klay Thompson.

Bazemore will probably start the season in the D-league. I'd rather see Barnes start at SF with Rush backing up SG and SF with Jefferson riding the bench.

UFAs: Tolliver

Wolves could get down to ~$16 to $17 million in cap-space by not extending QOs to our RFAs, buying out Webster/Miller's unguaranteed contracts and amnestying Milicic.

Definitely looking to acquire wings in free agency, perhaps a reserve Center as well.

I'd say there's a definite improvement for Minnesota.

Rubio / Ridnour / Barea
Roy / Shved / Lee
Kirilenko / Budinger
Love / Williams / Cunningham
Pekovic / Stiemsma

Have been in contact with Pietrus, Tolliver, Whiteside about possible minimum contracts.

Heat updated :

Mario / Cole
Wade / Allen / Harris
Lebron / Battier / Miller
Lewis / Haslem
Bosh / Joel / Pittman / Harrellson

We have a bunch of guys that could play multipule positins, so it all depends on match-ups and who's feeling it. Center position is really up for grabs.

Didnt DWill drop like 15-20lbs so he could play SF? ..idk he's just too good to be KLOves backup forever..time to cash him in or start him

He's reportedly lost 14 pounds, 4 since the SL. and they are pretty set on making him a SF:

Darren Wolfson ‏@DarrenWolfson
Leftover Bill Bayno note: he said D-Will will open camp almost exclusively at the 3. Needs the defensive work vs AK-47, Chase, etc. #twolves

I see the Wolves depth chart as something like this:

Rubio / Ridnour / Barea
Roy / Budinger / Shved / Lee
Kirilenko / Williams / Budinger
Love / Kirilenko / Cunningham / Amundson
Pekovic / Stiemsma / Love

Bazemore will probably start the season in the D-league. I'd rather see Barnes start at SF with Rush backing up SG and SF with Jefferson riding the bench.

To add on to this, it's looking more and more now like Ezeli, not Biedrins, will be the primary backup C, with Beans getting mostly garbage minutes (like, frankly, he deserves).

If I had to guess, I would put the opening day depth chart like this:

Bogut/Ezeli/Biedrins
Lee/Landry
Jefferson/Barnes/Green
Thompson/Rush
Curry/Jack/Jenkins

With Bazemore and Tyler in the D-League

The more I think about GSW's SF position the more I hope Draymond Green's game can translate to the NBA. It seems to me he's big enough to have a mid-post and low-post advantage against smaller SFs which balances Curry, Thompson and Rush's long range game. He's probably the best rebounder of their SFs, he's got a high hoops IQ, he passes well, he can shoot the 3 and most importantly he's got a great nickname. His game very well might not translate to the NBA as he may just be too slow and not quite athletic enough but W's fans can hope for the best even though the worst usually prevails for GSW.

Dallas (from my perspective only as during changes many different opinions will happen)

Kaman / Wright / James
Notitzki / Brand
Marion / Carter / Crowder
Mayo / Cunningham / DoJones / Dahntay Jones
Collison /Delonte West / Beaubois

All seven at the guard postion have question marks. Mayo..chucker, Collison..inconcistant, Cunningham..rookie, DoJones..NBA material?, West..is he taking his meds..can he do good two years in a row?, Beaubois..can he stay healthy?, Dahntay..no offense.

IMHO, two of the 5 guards not names Jones (not expecting more than a Stevenson role from either of the Jons's) has to have a breakout year or we ae in serious trouble. And one needs to show point ability.

Up front, we have decent offensive big men, but will get exploited defensively.

Damian Lillard / Nolan Smith / Ronnie Price
Wesley Matthews / Will Barton / Elliot Williams
Nicolas Batum / Luke Babbitt / Victor Claver
LaMarcus Aldridge / Joel Freeland / Jared Jeffries
J.J. Hickson / Meyers Leonard

I guess.
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

Houston's rotation appear set.

Lin/Douglas/Machado
Martin/Lamb
Parsons/Delfino/Morris
Patterson/Jones/White
Asik/Motiejunas

IMO houston will go with a 9 man rotation of Lin, Martin, Parsons, Patterson, Asik, Douglas, Lamb, Delfino, Jones. Motiejunas will be that situational 10th guy that get spot minute here and there filling in for foul trouble.

Royce White dleague.

So does JJJ get cut? I could see quite a few teams interested in him.

Cut, traitbait, bench... either way he doesn't figure to be part of rotation. Hasnt seen minutes in Preseason and there are 50 million guys in front of him at PF.

OK, after tonight's curve ball...

Houston:

PG: Lin / Livingston
SG: Harden
SF: Parsons / Delfino
PF: Patterson / Jones
C : Asik / Smith

now mix in Motiejunas, Douglas, Morris, White and Machado

The final cut was Livingston and Lazar x ?
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Yes.

I would have liked to see us keep Livingston, as he looked quite good in the pre-season, but by cutting him the Rockets saved/gained $2.5M in cap space, which might come in handy down the road, so no complains from me.

Fixed, though it seems that brooks like a 9 man rotation minus Jones at backup SF and rotate between Jones/Jackson for now.
