The point guard sets the tone and sometimes Price looks to shoot first, second and last.

Tough call for all the bubble players.

Cook plays well as a deep bench big also. Just a didn't kind of bench big. Baron is more of a post banger. Cooker is an outside 3 ball shooter. If Nene, Kevin and Okafor are healthy. Cook is the better choice. If not, Baron is the better choice.

Martin is the one who hasn't earned a spot. 0-2. 0-6 last game. 1-6 the game before. Shocking how back he has played this preseason.

Jan was 1-5, 1-3, 0-3 in pre-season , is that shocking? Martin will find his groove, but he still might be the odd man out.

The game is getting kind of scrappy disorganized. Booker was frustrated and got out of his game.

Lets see if Randy to get them focused again.

Are you really comparing Martins shooting to Ves ?

Martin is here mostly for his shooting. If not, we could have Mason here.

Beal just can't seem to do anything right out there today. Terrible game for him.

Can't shoot.
Can't dribble.
Can't guard.

Tough lesson. Hope he can figure it out soon.

They should go

Price
Webster
Singleton
Booker
Ves

Why didn't Ariza play tonight?

I'm more worried about Beal's lack of confidence in his ability to shoot over bigger players. At 6-4, everybody is bigger than you when you drive the lane. It's a learning process and it might take him months to get used to it. Also would help if Wall was there to set him up because Price is not that type of player.

Bad shoulder apparently but sounds more like Randy wanted to see more of Cartier and Webster.

Miami and now SA. Late in the preseason. He is getting his first taste of real defense at this level. Its a game of adjustments.

Gray may never play in an NBA game again so he's shooting every time he touches the ball.

Really impressed with Singleton.

I hope Wall is watching Tony Parker closely.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Putting Grey in is kind of throwing in the towel.

No Pargo ?

Interesting.

Kind of a D-League style free-for-all right now.

I think they've played a heck of a game, considering they're without -- let's see -- Wall, Nene, Seraphin and Okafor, i.e., 4 of their top 6 players.

2nd and 3rd stringers going against the 1st stringers of the Spurs, and they played well -- mostly unselfishly, moving the ball, playing good D, hustling.

Vesely looked excellent -- outperformed Kawhi Leonard, btw, who didn't impress me.

Price showed range on his shot, and though he shouldn't play that much, isn't a cipher by any means. I like what I've seen.

Yes, you have to be encouraged save for the way the team got selfish in the second half. They have to play unselfish ball this year and share it as much as possible. There are no stars.
