I'm happy Beal was more aggressive 22 points that's the guy we drafted. Its really painful watching wizards play how many loses it will take for us to make a roster change?

Re: GAME THREAD: 11/9/12 Washington Wizards vs Milwaukee Buc
All I have to say is I dunno.
The Bucks bench was good. The Wizards was not. Go figure. Beal, Ariza, even Okafor have good stat lines.
From 72 all, the Bucks surged ahead 81-72 from the end of the third to the start of the fourth. That turned out to be the difference.
Now my question is do I drop Kevin Seraphin for Larry Sanders in fantasy?

I'm pretty sure Witt will be fired before Ernie i have no idea why Ted is in love with Ernie This team is crap. I hope we go winless as well that will put a lot of pressure on Ernie, Knowing Ernie he will suck up to Ted and say the reason we are losing because are stars injured. What about are horrible supporting cast? Some of these guys on are team would barely make a good team rotation Ernie makes me sick soon as Ernie fired is when the wizards future becomes brighter.

If you want to look at this from an optimistic point of view, tonight was a trifecta.
1. Okafor put good stats: 11 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals
This helps a lot when trade talks come up.
2. Ariza also had very strong numbers--his second strong game (Game 1). 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 1 block.
A team like the Lakers would LOVE to have Trevor Ariza. This performance makes that possible.
3. The Wizards lost on a night when one coach got fired. Ted fired Flip. Randy has got to be feeling the heat, but not as much as Ernie. We fans have spoken out on how bad that Okariza deal was. Soon, Ted Leonsis, in his pride will have to man up and give somebody the boot.
4. This loss happened when Beal played well. That's about the only thing that really matters. Who cares what Okafor or Ariza do?
5. Kevin Seraphin can legitimately say not starting is hurting his timing. Predicted when this trade occurred, and just shows how dumb Ernie Grunfeld is.
6. Not enough minutes for Singleton when Ariza and Okafor play reasonably well, but how wise is that. EG has messed up.
I am happy with this kind of loss. Let them go 0-41 at home and THEN Ted will listen. Stop going to the games and let them become a laughingstock.

At least they get to come right back at it tomorrow night.
I just can't believe Kevin laid such an egg.
And where in the hell was Webster. I expect more from him.
Both these guys not showing up was the last thing I expected.

Kevin had a bad game but the guards did a bad job of feeding him in the post. They need to do a better job at finding him in his spots.. something that should improve when Wall returns.

looks like i overrated the no wall, no nene, start, i projeccted 4-14 without wall/nene, and then about 26-48 with them, it's looking like 1 or 2 wins maybe, before we get wall and nene, 3 max. This is a 24-28 win team, expect a top 6-7 pick pre-lottery, which we need, even in a weak draft since we got zilch out of '09, and '11. You can't build from the bottom of the barrell when you blow two of your first four blue chip rebuild draft picks on an idiot trade, and a reach in a bad draft.

When the lineup is filled with people that would be backups or less on a good team (not a contender, just a team that could make the playoffs) then this will be how games usually go. Ariza had a decent game, but Webster was a cipher, and Singleton was in foul trouble. It's a platoon by default, hoping one of them will be good. There are platoons at all five positions, because no player stands out enough to command a position. Okafor, @ $13 million a year, gets 11 pts, 6 rbs, 3 BS, and that's a good game? I guess it wasn't a bad game. Crawford was on fire, which brought his % up to about his career average.
Beal looked good.
Beal looked good.

Well, Beal played well. That's all I can say. Pargo is the worst PG in the NBA.

That's not fair. He's not a point guard.
Or a basketball player for that matter.

Like with the redskins and RG3, Morris and the kids, watch the kids, ignore the rest, Ted and friends were riding the short bus (forgive the unfortunate term), when they made their moronic claims of contention last summer. And for the record, I wouldn't be shocked if they were a .400-.450 if ever healthy this year, but for god sakes, get out of the bubble, and believe the real world reality that not only are we not in contention, we also only have 2-3 legit pieces that are a part of what would ever be a contender (a potential batman in wall, maybe a robin in beal, maybe a complimentary quality starter in seraphin, maybe a bit of a bench), but if this squad doesnt have a chance in hell of beating any of the top teams in the east, then its nowhere near good enough, and the brass should face that, or get the hell out of town. I have no complaints with long term rebuilding, what i have a huge problem with is denial and quick fixes, and i wont tolerate them, we already spent 20 years watching that garbage with the redskins, we don't need to import that philosophy to the basketball team.

Shelvin Mack outplayed him in preseason. Mack can pass and not turn the ball over.
One step in the right direction would be to waive Pargo. It might not be feasible at this point to bring back Mack, but there are many others in need of work who can ball at PG.

He and Ernie, if in the school system today, both strike me as probably special needs students.
