Hard to believe that a pro coach would willingly play doglas over anyone. Straight up canine.

toney douglas shouldn't be in the league, so the jeremy lin fanboys have a right to complain.

he hasn't been the first option to run the team, but did get more usage the last game, hence the 11 assists

For PG -
11th in assists - should go up soon as his useage increases
4th in steals 2.3 (5th overall)
1st in blocks 0.7
2nd in rebounds 4.7

top 50 overall in defensive rating

not bad for the deceptively athletic dude who can't defend....

This.

I tuned in after watching the Knicks-Grizz, and even in that brief time just before the OT, it was plain to see that Lin couldn't stay in front of Lillard. I said before the season started that Lin would get abused nightly by quick, explosive guards, and its happening.

Looking at the bigger picture, the Lin excuses are moving from the surreal to the utterly incomprehensible. First it was his knee, then it was Harden's fault for ball hogging, now its Sampson for not playing him correctly, along with an inference of racism... Next it will be the spirit of Carmelo appearing in front of his eyes every time he shoots.

When does this idiocy stop? Why should any team make allowances for a starting point guard who's shooting 35%? That's second to last in the entire league at his position.

Bottom line: its becoming obvious that Lin isn't really a starter, and would be better coming off the bench for limited minutes.

How about u watch Lin's games in full sometimes too before mouthing off your box score analyses? You should stick to watching the spirit of Melo and the November NBA Champions cuz your opinion is very biased. I thought the butthurt has healed already?

How original. Can't refute someone's post, so you resort to personal attacks.

I've never been butthurt, but it seems that you are.

You are making stuff up bro. Lin held Lillard to 3/9 shooting and 0 assist. You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

Lin was actually better defensively than Douglas tonight because Lin is a better overall player. He also defended Lillard better but this is why this Kelvin Sampson moron will never get a head coaching gig in the NBA.

Not sure if serious about the racist part

You need to work on your reading comprehension, bro. I posted on what I saw after tuning in during the late stages of the game.

Jeremy needs to score, no doubt about that. He's not Rondo or Rubio, so he needs his shot back.

But I don't know why some people are acting like shooting slumps or recovering from injuries is unusual.

Melo shot like crap for 40 games last season. Knicks fans gave him every excuse from his recovery from injuries to MDA being a bad coach to Amare messing with his spacing. (I think it was his injuries personally.)

Now the same people are calling out Lin fans for making excuses? Basketball is a team sport; you have to look at the situation.

" it was plain to see that Lin couldn't stay in front of Lillard. I said before the season started that Lin would get abused nightly by quick, explosive guards, and its happening."

So how did lillard abused lin to 33% shooting and 0 assist the 30 minutes that they matched up?

*edit*

Let me break it down for you before you go off some wild tangent.

Your opinion is that Lin gets abused by "quick, explosive guards" every game and can't stay in front of Lillard.

The FACT is that Lin is posting elite defensive ratings across the board by any objective measurements, and he also held Lillard in check the entire time.

Now, please reconcile facts and opinion. Refrain from passive aggressive personal attacks please.
