Regarding that 5-15 3 point shooting, some of those were stupid Big Balls Crawford shot jacking early in the clock. If you take those out, his stats look even more improved.

He just needs to be rid of that part of his game, those hero 3's with 18 seconds on the clock, work on his defense a bit more, and we have the perfect 6th man going forward. Either that, or some better trade bait.

I would say overall though, that yes, he has improved from last year.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

What?
He was huge against the Heat. Remember when he answered Wade's 3 with that long ass bomb?

I would like to believe that his shot jacking wouldn't be as bad if he had better scorers around him. I am not sure about this though.

There is no denying that he is very creative off the dribble and his awkward style isn't easy to defend. I wish Beal had his handles.

He also has the worst posture in the NBA.

Ya, you nailed it. Nearly 40% of JC's shots are taken within the first 10 seconds of the shot clock (38.3% eFG%).

Among shooting guards Crawford ranks

12th in PER
14th in rebound rate
13th in assist rate
38th in TS%

Clearly shot selection is still an issue but overall i think he is one of the few bright spots on this team so far.

PER isn't much good because of the way it handles offensive efficiency. That said, Crawford has definitely been playing better. Especially the past few games.

Gotta admit I was never a big Crawford fan but he's been impressive the past couple of weeks. Imagine not having him in the lineup, who the hell is going to shoot the ball then? Seraphin or one-legged Nene can't take 50 shots a game.

Sometimes I think this board in particular is really negative :-?
