Beal
Martin
Kevin
Nene

18 pt lead down to 9

Line ups matter.

If it wasnt for the blow out first quarter with Randy and his crappy starting line ups, they would be right in this.
Price, Beal, Webster, Singleton, Okafor

Randy has to get Okafor out of the starting line up. He would be fine as an off the bench player, but he is no starter.

Kevin was on fire. Why did they stop feeding him.

So frustrating. Execution down the stretch. Bad coaching. Why not keep running plays for Kevin ?

Clearly they can play when they have good line ups out there. They played them tough for 3 quarters but it is a 4 quarter game. Done 12 pts after one quarter and played them even every quarter after that.

Webster had a crap game and they couldnt afford that from a starter with Trevor A out. Webster laid an egg. That makes him a bench player. He took zero shots the entire first quarter. How does a head coach allow that. Run a play for him. Get in his ear. Tell the other players to look for him.

So you start

Beal
Webster
Singleton
Okafor

So who is your scorer in that line up ? Singleton pulled his weight. But that is a crap line up of back up players. Only starter is the group is Singleton and he is barely established as a starter.

Its not even that you can't start Webster, its just I wouldn't start his with that group. He needs at least Crawford out there with him or Kevin or Nene.

The score was 92-96 and Webster missed a corner three that would have closed to 95-96.

Webster finished -23 in his first start. He only took 5 shots in 31 minutes. Worse, Webster had 0 rebounds.

Wizards were outrebounded 46-32.

Livingston played 4 minutes and had 3 fouls.

Wizards could have used Ariza this game.

On the bright side, Beal was assertive. Seraphin is playing like a good go to scoring #1 option.
