How is it possible that someone is just naturally as big as McCorkle? I've heard him talk about his weight before, seems like the dude has to go hardcore to get under 300 pounds.

Weird fight, I was thinking McCorkle would sub him.
Then I remembered McCorkle sucks.
I watched an interview he did before the fight, the host at one point said jokingly "do you even want win?" he clearly gave no **** about it at all and was already rattling off things that could lead to him losing (flights, weight etc). If he's done fighting he should start podcasting or something he's pretty funny

Yea, didn't he immediately start saying he took the guy lightly? I think that's what happened to him in his last loss too, he said something along the lines of "I don't think this is going to go well for my opponent" then immediately gets KOed.
Its hard to root too hard for guys who aren't willing to get in shape for fights. You don't have to cut a ton of weight, but at least try to get in shape.

He's always jokey on the internet and in interviews. I never got the impression that he actually wanted to be a fighter and would rather be teaching BJJ but likes the profile. He's definitely a self-promoter, more than most guys.

He was messing around with "pro" wrestling for a while, wouldn't really be a bad option for him

I've seen a couple of interviews where he's tried to make out like he's just got a huge build and struggles to get down to 260, which is pretty much bull imo but that's his excuse. Brock Lesnar I believe, Sean McCorkle not so much.

I'm with you. Don't tell me its hard to get down to 265 or whatever when you come into the cage all jiggly.

I like how cages are banned in Victoria but it's fine to pummel a guy who's stuck under a boxing rope.

“I’m totally not afraid of Anderson,” said Jones. “Not afraid of any man.”

Atta boy, Jonny, keep stoking those flames.
We all know this is the fight to make......needs to be made......
Fertitta wants the super fight. Jones would do it. Silva is warming up.
Back up the Brinks truck and make it happen.

Listening to mmahour a day later as per usual: Ariel interviewing Mousasi.
If he is 100% and goes to the ufc, does anyone think he can make any noise in the ufc's aging lhw division? He's one of those guys who is good standing AND on the ground. Main question mark as of now has to be his wrestling.
I do have to say that I don't like how he's already thinking about ufc opponents. Mike Kyle isn't the best fighter in the world, but he has a lot of power to be looking through. I would be pretty upset if Kyle, one of my least favorite fighters, were to beat Mousasi, who I am definitely a fan of.

Miesha saying that Dana saying/implying that she turned down the Rousey fight was a lie.

Looks like Condit accepted Rory's challenge and we're having Condit/Rory II.

^ F'n right.
Condit's not going to be shook by Rory's "Patrick Bateman" schtick, he's already played with a Diaz.
Anyways, great fight.

This is awesome: http://www.mmasucka.com/news/dana-white ... ufc-fox-5/
“I got in a grappling match in the cage with Nick The Tooth. He’s actually a friend of Dana’s. It’s actually going to be in one of Dana’s video blogs coming up pretty quick here. Basically, the premise was that every time I submitted Nick, I got $1000 and if Nick could submit me then he got $2,500. So, I had three minutes to grapple with him and I banged out six submissions. So, I had a very good weekend.”

Re: Non-threadworthy MMA Rumors/Quotes/Tweets, etc.
Ellenberger/Hendricks now on the gsp/diaz card?
If Ellenberger beats Hendricks, that'd be awkward for GSP. His options would seem to be Anderson or Rory (if he beats Condit), both fights he doesn't want any part of. I guess Maia/Fitch winner could be in the mix.

Perhaps its Danas way of pigeon holding him into the the Silva fight.
It's either, fight your friend or fight Silva.
What happens if Condit and Ellenberger win though? Who gets the shot?

IDK but if people aren't excited for Hendricks/GSP now, I doubt they'd be excited for GSP/Ellenberger on a two fight win streak.
