Yup, that was very hard to watch.

All the things they've gone through, I'm sure Garnett has spent alot of time around McHales daughter too, ever since she was just a little kid. Heartbreaking moment and respect to KG for showing love to McHale despite how their Minnesota time ended.

man, i'm tearing up here.
I feel so bad for coach McHale, he's always come across as a really nice guy, and regardless of the fact that I do like him, no parent should ever have bury their child.
I just feel terrible for him.

I lost my mother on the first of October. If you ever have a friend grieving like this, you have no idea how much a simple gesture such as a hug will mean to them. I'm sorry for your loss, McHale.

Very sorry for your loss, eagereyez. I hope you and McHale get the strength and comfort you need to get through to the other side of a dark time.

No man want to be seen crying in public. Give him some personal space.

Was thinking the same thing watching this.

If anybody wants to judge a man for crying so shortly after losing his daughter and on the night of one of the most tragic events in our country's history, then they're simply ****. There's nothing embarrassing about McHale crying last night.

Exactly. The stigma attached towards men who show their emotions is one of my pet peeves.

Hard to watch. I lost my mom last year in August. She was only 56 years old and was found on the couch 1 week after the fact because of the smell in the hallway.

My friends and family helped get me threw it but I still cannot imagine ever loosing my daughter.

It takes so much strength to be able to come back as he is now. McHale is an inspiration and someone who I wish I could of been as strong as.

But dontcha know, the media and commercials are telling us to "MAN UP".

If we don't buy their sh*tty beer we can have our imaginary "man cards" revoked!

Classy move by KG. I'm sure it meant a lot to Kevin M having had it come from someone who he shares a bond, and some tragic memories, with.

The world needs more of this. More unity. More putting differences, hatred and intolerance to the side.
