or Drummond, Barnes, Robinson, Waiters

that is why you need one other young piece for the pleasure of trading for Perkins

New idea.

Love is supposed to be unhappy with the Twolves.

Is it possible we could get Love for AV + (Walton to make the money work) and our current no. 1 lottery protected of course or if not this year like the Sac pick we have our No 1 in a future year when we are better and out of the lottery for a few years?

You would have to take off the protection of our first.....but that could work.

Actually -

Pau + Cavs 1st to Minn
AV to LAL
Love to Cavs

Book it.....

Screw helping LAL

And I don't think the money would work w/o Luke.

I would do the 1st AV and Luke for Love and their number 1.

The question is would the TWolves? Thoughts?

Thanks guys, I needed a good laugh after a tough finals week. You guys are borderline delusional if you actually believe we have any shot at landing Love.

Both to LA, no one wants to be traded to Cleveland.

Edit: Also love still has another guaranteed two years with Minnesota after this season while paul/dwight had the option to opt-out in the summer. So Minnesota would be fools to trade him now even if he wants out.

The question was is this enouigh. If not what ?

Point taken that Minn propably does not care what Love thinks. Your right about that.

Your right though there's propably no chance at this ever.

Nah I really don't think the Wolves are trading Love for anyone, They have a great young duo in Rubio/Love with a bunch of great players to surround them with like Kirelenko and then they have some other young pieces in Dwilliams that they could use in a trade to further improve their roster and get it ready for a playoff push. Assuming Love stops whining at the Love/Rubio duo stays together, I can see them being a top 4 team in the west every year if they stay healthy and keep improving.

Varejao, Waiters, our unprotected 2013 first rounder and other picks, and maybe Zeller for Love/Barea.

I was thinking minny wouldnt trade love but with the increasing tension between him and the franchise maybe...

Id need some assurance he would re sign otherwise you'd have to do it i think.

IMO, some of you guys are getting a little carried away with Kevin Love and his value which is approaching sky high proportions for some fans which I thought you would only see on the Wolves board. Love reminds me of a better version of Carlos Boozer type of guy who scores and rebounds really well while not being a dominate player--- just a really good stat guy who is not a very good defender.

Check the trade board. I created a thread where I proposed Minny getting what amounts to 4 lottery picks and got laughed out of the thread. The value on here for him is indeed sky high.

First off, rjgraca, dominate =/= dominant.

Secondly, Kevin Love is REALLY good. I mean, he's not perfect, but I don't know what world you are living in where you wouldn't be chomping at the bit to add him to our team. You don't get too many opportunities to add a guy like that. Even after a deal for Love, the Cavs would still have cap space available to add more talent.

In addition to Love's value, swapping out Varejao and change for Love would really free up the opportunity for Thompson to try to be that elite hustle player. Find a starting SF and this team would be legit within a year or two.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Who's goin take their talents to Cleveland? - Someone who:

- Came from here? - no
- Loves no night life? - not likely
- Loves the coach because he's so much better than anyone else ? - we talkin practice?
- Loves a max contract and can be the top dog in a town? - I want the spotlight in a big town damnit.
- Loves to be the one to break all the losing streaks in this town and be a legion forever? Should I go on?

You should go on because you have not actually made a clear point.

No problem.

Most Pro players are self centered, money hungery, under edjucated, attention grabbers that have been catered to their entire lives who care nothing for the fans.

Is that clear enough of a point?

I love sports but hate the fact everyone worships plays as gods.
