I use one of those personal electric shavers and leave it real short.

All, over.

Nothing...if you're a woman or gay.

So you are telling me you have not interfered with your armpit hair growth since you hit puberty? Or have you been gay atleast a few times since then?

Make it mandatory to shave arm pits or cover it up. Disgusting imagine if this happened to you while playing ball

Yeah, I was wondering, too. As someone who doesn't know a single guy who shaves his armpits, does the chaffing decrease over time?

Come on man, a decent antiperspirant/ deodorant will prevent sweat leaking everywhere.

As a guy thats been shaving his pits for over 2 years, yes the chaffing/itching is non-existent after probably the 3rd shave.

Let me tell you it is definitely worth it to tough it out past the tough first few days. Looks so much better, doesn't smell nearly as bad and feels so much more comfortable, especially not having to feel a bunch of nasty ass hair scrunched up in your sleeves

an antiperspirant yes, but not a deoderant. and i don't personally use antiperspirant, i don't like clogging up my pores.

the only people i have seen claim it makes men more attractive when their underarms are shaven, are men themselves. women could not care less. so the inference that it's homosexual really is not that far off.

Wrong. The more armpit hair, the more sweat accumulates in that area and bacteria breeds easier. That means worse BO.

It makes deodorant/antiperspirant feel more sticker and uncomfortable. It causes more stains on your clothes.

These are reasons enough to keep the size of your pit hair in check. I dont mean doing it everyday in the shower like a girl, but every few weeks trimming it is better from a personal hygiene stand point and better for your clothes.

Is this really something that makes you feel so manly? Not shaving your armpit hair? BTW, you have never done it have you? Since youve hit puberty youve never shaved/trimmed the hair in your pits?

I think every year there is an armpit thread but it usually "What is that white stuff" iirc

Anyway been shaving my pits since puberty, it definitely feels better, lifting weights or playing sport. Never had a problem with sweat or odor.
Also every girl I have dated absolutely hated underarm hair on men, watch a game with a girl and they will notice it. So I guess I don't understand your statement sprint.

I mean I also clip my fingernails, does that make me gay or is it I just like a clean feel.
I could care less about appearance

Where are you guys from, the ones that think its odd to shave.

Seriously
I mean it takes less time to shave your pits than it does brushing your teeth and you only do it 1-2 a month.
These guys must be Neanderthals, in middle school.

I mean are you guys really that scared of homosexuality, that you make comments like that?

that's not even what my quote was referring to.

i said the only people who talk about it are men themselves and i'm right. just look at this topic. no girl has ever asked me to shave my underarms and i've been with more than a few.

Thanks for the info.

I asked my wife of 13 years what she thought, and she was thoroughly indifferent. To each his own, right?

Yeah so just because your girlfriends dont mind it means that any man that does it is being gay? I already gave you objective reasons to why trimming pit hair is a good practice. Dont have to keep it smooth like a girl all the time but keeping it in check is better for me than to deal with the nastiness I feel when it is hairy under there.

Be a man.....

This day and age men are so feminized it's sickening. Eye shadow, hair draped across their face, plucking eyebrows and shaving. No one says you need to have a big burly bush of hair under you arms or on your junk, but for **** sake, leave the clean shaven crap to the women.

Exercise your right to be a **** man.
