The Warriors would have to go 21-31 to finish at .500. We've been 20-10 and you expect us to somehow finish out the season in an abominable fashion like that with Bogut back?

Awful take.

Sorry I hurt your feelings but the bogut adjustment + more wc games makes me think this winning won't last.

I fail to see how Bogut's return can make us worse in any way. Right now, we're only playing Biedrins and Ezeli about 20-25 minutes a game which means we're playing with a frontline of either Lee/Landry, Green/Lee, or Green/Landry as our frontcourt for about half of the game. Our rebounding and defense can only get better (and it already is very good as a team) with Bogut back on the court and Bogut's presence in the low post will mean a lot more open shots for Curry and Thompson. Did you watch Bogut's 4 games back with the Warriors? Even though he was clearly not close to 100%, he gave the Warriors a huge defensive presence and the Warriors were running a lot of their offense through him.

This has sour grapes written all over it. Have you even watched them play?

Bogut isnt a black hole bro, he is a top defending and passing big man in the league. They'll only get better once he returns.

Yup. Bogut isn't Amare. :)

Sour grapes is the only thing I can say for thinking they'll finish at .500. It is the only logical reasoning. I mean this team plays defense, they hit the 3 (best in the month of december), have great guard play along with the only 20-10 guy in the league down low. Surely this team will be in the playoffs without bogut.

By Stumbling you mean completely fall flat on their face with a return of a big guy that will help the flow of the offense and improve their defense? Yea...no. Dont understand this take but I digress.

Amare is not known for playing defense but I wouldnt call him a black hole. However, he will be under the microscope by everyone once he returns, no doubt.

Indeed. Amare is a horrifically bad defender and an under-achiever on the glass, but while he's not Bill Walton as a passer, it's not that he's a black hole, it's just that he's not great at it. He's a willing passer and he's not a guy without work ethic, he's just all offense.

Props to Mark Jackson. The warriors are a fun team to watch. They remind me a little bit of the Roy/Aldrige Blazers for a reason I can't really put my finger on, but I enjoy watching them whenever they are on national television...

didnt they play well when he played a game or two at the start of the year? he isnt the kind of player that would hurt a team, especially once playing a rookie and biedrins at the position.

He's not a black hole but he's not even really "in the middle" when it comes to blackhole vs willing passer. He passes if he has to and basically just keeps the ball until he can't anymore. Which is why him and Melo don't work together, because Melo's like him but worse since he keeps the ball until he can't anymore and then shoots anyway.

True. They always support that team.

I'm glad they are doing well. Curry is my favorite PG in the league. Love his game.

+1

Warriors have the best fanbase in the NBA. Used to think Portland fans were up there with this, until this season.

Before the season started I actually had expected them to secure a playoff spot. Coach Mark Jackson has done a great job there, slowly built his own team and gave them a new identity. This was becoming gradually clear last year, even when they were tanking. (by the way what they did was such a shame for sportsmanship , like playing tough good ball for three quarters and blatantly losing in the fourth. I made some money live-betting on their games though being aware of what was going on)

Now their .67 record is a bit inflated for whatever reason but they will hang in there. Obviously health is key for them. Not only for currently injured Bogut but also keeping healthy Curry healthy. I really like this guy. Lightning quick and silky smooth. They made a good decision to keep him around provided he won't have another serious injury in the near future. Now.. I remember last year again. GSW decided to commit to Curry by trading Ellis. And then happened the infamous incident with the owner, those boos and all... Now it's just several months after that and hopefully those clueless fans realize how stupid they were back then.

I like GS. They are the real deal. And I have joked about Mark Jackson, but the truth is he is a really good coach.

I think they will hold off the lakers to get second in the Pacific and they will make a nice run in the playoffs.

But watch out for them in the future. The young "littles" they got, Curry, Klay and Barnes are going to be the best in the league in the next 3-5 years. Nothing but promise for them and their organization. The right guy/corp finally bought that team.

They almost beat them in LA if I am not mistaken.
Last ball decided that game. Am I mistaken?

Correct, Chris Paul made what would have been the game winner but Curry stepped and took a charge. It's also worth noting the Warriors shot 39 free throws while the Clippers shot a whopping 52.
