Ersan should just be brutally honest in those interviews, I'm the only one who can understand him after all.

I thought he was extremely overrated also, he was similar to a Mo Williams type player and was hyped up like some star.

He's nothing like Mo. Mo has a killer three point shot and is elite in the midrange game. Lin is all about attacking the rim with his size and high level quicks for a guy his size.

I was thinking more along the lines of shoot first PG who could score, not a ton of court vision, high turnover ratio, bad defense.

Del4no is a rock solid defender.

 he got destroyed last year. I was watching.

It was the only thing consistent about his game.

I don't see overly bad D when I watch Lin. Must be Asian bias.

Sanders has 4 blocks! I wasn't even sure he had 2 before I checked the box score

Yep, Delfino was an awful defender for us last year. Huge reason I was happy to see him go.

That and his long 4 pointers

This was intentionally over exaggerated. Just mainly to make the point that I don't think much of him as a player.

Carry on.

I didn't want Delfino back because I thought the Bucks would at least upgrade at that spot. But I would much rather have Delfino than Daniels. Agree that neither one is a good option.

Yep. His court vision is also quite good overall. Defensively, he uses his size well and he has good instincts. He also plays hard on that end. He's a very solid defender.

His main problem, and it is a big one, is that he can't shoot. Beyond that, he can be out of control attacking the rim. Much like Baddy, he can put his team in a really bad spot with an out of control attack of the rim that leads to a fastbreak the other way. Coaches hate that shizz.

Effort definitely isn't the issue with Lin on D, I just don't see him as an anything better than average on a good day on that end.

Delfino was the same "good defender" that Royal Ivey and Luke Ridnour were. They'd get up in your face and look like they know what they were doing but it usually ended in a basket. Marquis Daniels is that right now.

Lin is a pretty bad defender. The Rockets overall D is pretty bad so he doesn't exactly stand out, and he's not Gooden level shockingly bad or anything, but hes below average. BJ is a better defender than Lin and we attack him all the time for his defense

Sanders is incredible. People have been talking about him on the general board, and some posters have stated he's overrated because people are infatuated with his shot blocking numbers. He blocks a ton of shots, but most of his impact comes on shots he doesn't block. If his shot blocking numbers were cut in half and he was well down the list in terms of blocks per minute, he'd still be an ultra-elite big because of the enormous impact he has on any shots taken within like 10 feet of the rim.

In other words, casualfans.jpg are actually underrating Sanders because he blocks so many shots. They think his defensive rep is due only to his highlight blocks, when, in fact, his impact goes well beyond that.
