pretty good write-up. no doubt the one mistake i agree with was not running at kyrie to end the game. i would have lived with gee or miles hitting a shot after we forced kyrie to give up the ball (or at least beat the double). i also wanted to see dunlap sub off gordon and sessions in that last play (offense for defense).

bottom line is, you cant get down 15+ to an equally bad cavs team at home or else every single decision the rest of the game has to be perfect to win.

we have blown home games to the suns, magic, hornets and cavs so far this year. those four teams are a combined 16 and 50 on the road, with 4 of the 16 wins against us. take out the games vs us and they are a combined 12 and 46 (20% winning percentage).

Play the young guys and barely give minutes to the vets = damn it Dunlap, stop throwing games just to develop young guys!

Play the vets because they're hot and spurred a double digit comeback = damn it Dunlap, stop playing the vets and give the young guys some floor time!

I've never seen anyone complain about Dunlap giving our young players minutes. What we are complaining about is Dunlaps questionable 4th quarter lineups and of course our inexcusably bad defense. Remember the Portland game? Dunlap is going to have to prove to me that he knows what he's doing, and keeping Walker and MKG on the bench in the 4th quarter of a close game just doesn't make any sense.

Insomnia got me up still. I'm bored so I might as well rant about Dunlap some more. If he want to ride the hot hand as he called it the other night, how about he try that in the 1st half instead of waiting until we're down by 10 points almost every game. I guess I'm done with this loss and onto the Pistons game from here.

Because the hot hands weren't the starters.

The starters got us down 18.

The bench players, who got us back in the game and almost won it for us, didn't play as many mins in the 1st half.

Seriously......

I wasn't talking about particularly last night's game. I'm talking about the other games when we have had 5-10 point leads in the 1st quarter and he'll make a substitution just to stay on his gameplan. Honestly I wasn't being serious because I understand that players need rest and our best lineups consist of one of Gordon or Sessions on the floor. I was just making a wise crack. Either way it wasn't the starters that got us down by 18 points. It was a combination of the starters and the bench combined that lead to that deficit. It was just that our bench was in against the Cavs reserves while Kyrie was on the bench when the comeback started and Dunlap rolled with it.

So, no not seriously......

yep. just more unfalsifiable vagueries thrown around in frustration, there's nothing of substance to be discussed here.

Just wait until Detroit finishes 30-52 and we get a top 10 pick from them. Talk about a team mired in mediocrity. They're about as bad as the Raptors.
