Exactly why I told you to do some research before blatantly disputing one of my posts. I posted the actually tweet days before on this same thread. It's on page 31 if you care to look.

Hell no.

Nene can't even stay healthy and even when he is healthy, he isn't worth his contract at all. I'd probably say no even if we were dumping Tyrus.

OK. At least we now we know who, what, when, and where. I'm sorry if I came off like a **** over nothing.

No thanks. Nene is going to continually become more and more ineffective the older he becomes.

Hey fellas with all of the Rudy Gay trade rumours swirling around I was wondering if Rudy Gay can guard 4's. If he can would be interested in sending our expirings to Memphis for him?

No. Rudy Gay is a SF/SG more than a SF/PF. Not to mention his contact is disgusting. On the other hand, if we're offloading Ben Gordon and/or Tyrus Thomas, then that's a different story.

I wouldn't mind trading for Rudy Gay and moving MKG to SG on the depth chart as a shutdown perimeter defender. It's a very calculated risk though. I'm sure they would be interested in a package centered around Diop's expiring.

It's an unnecessary risk, as our guard/wing play has been very good. Kemba and Sessions are 9th and 10th in PER among point guards, Gordon is 6th among shooting guards, Henderson 13th, and MKG is 12th among small forwards. If we're going to add a max contract player, he needs to be a big man, unless that player is a franchise-changing talent (like Harden would have been). Rudy Gay isn't that at all. I'd much rather amnesty Tyrus and let Gordon's contract expire.
Humble yourself.

I really can't see us letting Gordon expire the way he has been playing. We have to get something for him. Honestly I would like to keep him. He is an assassine off the bench.

Draft day. The same way we dealt Maggette. We take back a bad contract and a nice pick. It's too obvious not to happen.

Then MKG, Taylor, Hendo, Gordon, Kemba, Sessions, and Reggie would ALL be fighting for guard minutes?

Not exactly. I mentioned that the package would be centered around Diop's expiring, meaning that I'd expect Hendo or Gordon to be included in the swap depending on which player they'd prefer.

Option #1
Memphis get Diop, Hendo, Reggie and Portland pick
Charlotte get Rudy Gay and Tony Wroten/Josh Selby

Option #2
Memphis get Diop, Gordon, and Portland pick
Charlotte get Rudy Gay and Tony Wroten

I like Option #1 for them and us, since every player is basically an expiring contract and they'd love Hendo's defense in their grand scheme of things. I like Rudy a lot as a player since UConn but I could live without him. I wouldn't make this a day to day post as a player that we must have.

I'm overtly happy that Hump didn't want to sign with us this offseason. That would've been worst than the Tyrus contract. I'd much rather let Diop expire and try to sign Milsap for that type of money.

I agree, but it doesn't seem far from possibility. You know we'd do it if we got a pick from someone.

Just say no to Rudy Gay and the 16 million bucks he's owed. Plus, he hurt Biz's feelings, lol.
