Den/Mem/Sac

Post#1 » by youngthegiant » Tue Jan 8, 2013 10:46 pm

Denver Trades: Wilson Chandler, Corey Brewer,Timofey Mozgov, 13 1st
Denver Receives: Demarcus Cousins, Francisco Garcia, John Salmons

Memphis Trades: Rudy Gay
Memphis Receives: Wilson Chandler, Corey Brewer

Sacramento Trades: Demarcus Cousins, Francisco Garcia, John Salmons
Sacramento Receives: Rudy Gay, Timofey Mozgov, 13 1st

Why: trade might seem a little improbable at the moment, but if wilson returns successfully(returning sunday against Golden State), then his trade value would greatly increase as he is only making around 6 mil. Corey Brewer would also be a great addition to the Grizzlies. Denver adds a nice big in Cousins. Sacramento finally gets a star sf and a replacement center in mozgov. Thoughts???

So Denver basically trades nobody and ends up with Demarcus Cousins? Interesting.

I would give the Nuggets insane props if they were to somehow pull that off.

Hell, I would learn to spell Masai Ujiri's name right if he pulled that off.

EDIT: holy moly I got it right on the first try

you guys need to look at this another way. yes denver isn't giving up the most valuable pieces but memphis is shedding salary and getting a talented player who has shown he can be a versatile NBA player. Chandler is too hard of a worker not come back strong.(and he will come back and be a huge piece for the nuggets) sacramento is getting and borderline all-star in gay for demarcus cousins, a 1st round pick, and Mozgod. denver could possibly add Faried but we would at least need to get back T-rob. Every team gets what they want in this trade.

Kings cut out Denver, and keep cousins.

Thornton, Garcia and thomas robinson for gay.

Memphis gets a starter quality sg a bunch of cap relief and a recent top 5 pick kings get the next piece to their puzzle.

Brooks
Evans
Gay
Thompson
Cousins

Where is their quality sf to replace Gay. Kings don't have one, which is why they need a third team to make the trade happen.

Did something happen to make people think Wilson Chandler is good again?

He has literally played 3 NBA games in the last two seasons, we have no idea.
