Every time I watch OKC I'm jealous.

I was browsing through an old thread from right around the time we signed Amar'e and it was funny seeing how livid Knicks742 was when we signed Amar'e and traded Lee...

Me personally.. prior to the 2010 off-season I wanted Boozer.. I was one of the few.. but basically because Boozer was a better rebounder, a smarter player and played with his back to the basket a little better.. and of course the injury history of Amar'e... My next preference was Lee but not at Max salary. But when we signed Stat I supported him and at least we had something to be excited about. But both of these moves were contingent on signing Lebron... If I had struck out on Lebron I would've just waited and made getting my franchise player priority number 1.. which would've been CP3.

Just one move here or there changes the course of a franchise. If you also remember the year we drafted Gallinari Walsh really wanted to draft Russell Westbrook... if that happened I think there is no way he trades Westbrook and it maybe holds off some pressure from Dolan... then the following year Walsh again gets stymied because he wants Curry or Rubio and instead we end up with Hill.

Just one move here or one move there and everything turns out differently.

CP3 was the guy I really hoped for. A team based around the core of CP3, Gallo, and Stat (if possible) would have been simply devastating.

really short sighted statement here...not to say that they will, but the top West teams haven't been hit by the injury bug at all yet, specifically to their starters/6th men and especially when it comes to their best players. OKC, Memphis and the Clippers starters and 6th men have missed a combined 9 games this year...compare that to the Knicks who have missed a combined 14 games from just Melo and Felton...not to mention Shumpert has yet to play a single game or that Amare has logged 5 games this year...or compare it to the Bulls and Pacers who have missed Rose and Granger all year...

We've yet to see the best of what the top Eastern teams have to offer.

I don't think the Knicks will be fully healthy ever. As much as I want them to win it's hard seeing them being healthy enough to win. They haven't been fully healthy at all this year to even know what the team is going to look like. Pacers aren't championship contenders. I could see the Bulls being championship contenders because of how great their defense is. That's depending on Rose though. Even then, I don't know if they'll have enough fire power to win.

That's just what I think. Anything can happen though. Hope for the best.

Indiana is a better defensive team than Chicago by a fair margin, right now they are actually the 6th best fg defense of all time, only being beat by teams from the lockout 98 99 season and the 2003-2004 season, consider that they were a top 10 offense with Granger last season and they could be every bit the contenders Chicago can be.

If you're comparing conferences as a whole... the east is 90-132 versus the west.

Right now as we sit... there are 4 championship contenders... Miami, Okc, LAC and SA... the 4 best records are in the west... right now the west is stronger than the east, period. What happens in one game doesn't put in anything into perspective when you're trying to compare the strength of each conference verse the other.

Doubt it, Granger kinda out them over the top of their capability.

All he has to do is fit in.

In fact, you are so overconfident that you came in crowing after one game like you won the bet when somebody as statistically savvy as yourself ought to know we're playing game of averages.

In the end, we'll be haggling over assists.

So how's that bet looking? Did you predict the last 3 games? Are we haggling over assists? I thought the first month wasn't statistically relevant? So can you explain why Lin is reverting back to trash?

Maybe you should get Bill Bradley here with some fresh excuses.

Bulls just a bad matchup for us. But they definitely shot their wad in that game. Now Knicks rest.

Bulls are not a good team. Deng played like he was the MVP. Every team is playing their best against us. When we get Felton back it won't be a problem.
