I remember when hardly anyone wanted to trade for Carmelo (using Shard's contract plus sweetener) last year because of his salary. I was willing to because I thought in the right scenario he could turn it around (the move to PF)... oh well.

Harden, Nene, Anderson... that's a pretty solid team w/o Wall. With an improved Wall it's a very good team. :-(

Regarding Wall, I'm not sure what SVG is seeing when he questions his decision making ability. I'd question my own decision making if my options are McGee, Blatche, Lewis or Nick Young to pass the ball too. I agree with Nivek that a lot of turnovers come from careless/sloppy play with the ball, not bad decision making. To me that comes with focusing on valuing the ball. A good coach will demand it with the organization's full support. When it comes to the Wizards, we let bad habits seep in and we fail to address them (like Arenas playing D or Blatche being consistently out of shape yet still playing 35 minutes a night).

With Wall bottom line it comes down to getting a respectable (read: average) jumper and fine tuning the other aspects of his game. He can also become an all-NBA defender if he really wants too.

Wall had an incredibly inconsistent season last year. He started out woefully, was terrible for a month. Broke out, had a very good month and a half stretch where he played close to an all-star level, then he slipped back into a funk where he played terrible again for a few weeks before finishing out the season playing respectably the last 6 games.

It all seemed related to his jumper and his confidence in it. During that 6 week stretch or so where he played well, his TS% was sky high. Outside of that and the very end of the season, he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and his entire game was out of sync.

So I know he can hit that shot. Also, I liked the way his form had improved over the off-season, he might get off to a slow start but if the health cooperates I suspect we'll see signs of what he can really do.

To me the injury aspect is the most scary thing.

It's a little early to be saying that...he's played two seasons in the NBA with 16/8 averages and athletic ability isn't something that will hold him back.

I dont care what he said about Wall, Im just glad he said (basically) that the team is in shambles.. We need more b-ball personalities to speak up about it!! Maybe it'll finally click with Ted, that his GM's a bum!!

The wizards player development sucks...
Look how nick young...blatche...mcgee are playing with their new teams
For Wall to have career averages of what cp3 is averaging this yr on the suckiest team says something
I think he has it...its a confidence thing....sorta like rose when he started...he wasnt postioning his self as team leader till he realize he the only choice...wall has to gain that confidence.
He started his career as one of the best def pg ever till his 8th game and derrick rose killed his ankles offensivesly....after that he hasnt played with the same defensive intensity...
I think coming back from this injury next to this veteran front court with beal on the wing..wall will shine...especially if he comes back with the intent of trying to show the wizards are no joke

I guess wall read my post
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
