Yeah I think at this point BJ3 is not going anywhere. I think if one is dealt, it will be Ellis. He's older than BJ3, makes more sense, and is easier to sell to the fanbase (he planned to opt out, planning to leave, etc).

There is simply no reason to move Jennings and is obviously part of the future. He will set his market value and the Bucks will match (smartly).

I don't even think Ellis will be traded since he's filling a hole with nobody behind him at 2 guard. In the same line, I think Ersan/Udoh/Moute/Lamb (depending how they really feel about Harris) could be trade assets. We'll see what Ellis decides to do with his option.. my guess is he takes the money and the Bucks trade him next season as an expiring deal or ride out his contract ala Udrih.

I think the obvious hole remains the future 2 guard for the Milwaukee Bucks.

All Star Reserves announced on Thursday night at 6:00pm CST on a TNT special.

So we've got about 18 hours until another chapter of Jennings euphoria or pessimism.

I would be mildly surprised if he made it, even after his performance against Jrue. Hard to see the coaches not just rubber stamping 2 of Irving / Williams / Rondo even if they don't want Jrue.

He better not pout ffs. We've got a good thing going atm. Last thing we need is a month of him deciding not to shoot.

Would you do Jennings + Henson + LRMAM for Cousins + Robinson + A.Brooks?

As much as I don't like Brooks you have to make that deal.

I understand the reasoning behind it but I don't do it, no. I don't think Cousins ever gets it. Talent is through the roof but he will never harness it or turn it into impact on wins.

Honestly, I don't mess with the frontcourt. Get us a wing and we're good.

Don't they let the players know ahead of time? I thought Jennings had a terrible game the night that he found out last year and it was a few days before it was announced to the public. At the time everyone thought that it was that game was the reason why he wasn't selected but he admitted latter that he found out he wasn't picked that night.

Agreed and I don't think it needs to be a stud either. An athletic SG/SF that can defend, shoot the 3, and drive+dunk like a Jeffrey Taylor/Jimmy Butler/Corey Brewer type.

I think one of our wings needs to be a stud if the Bucks are ever going to be taken seriously.

I agree, so who's out there thats available that fits that description? Gerald Henderson, Aaron Afflalo, Courtney Lee, OJ Mayo, anybody else?

No way would I do that.

I think Cousins is very talented but he's a headcase and not without flaws as a player. Henson and Moute are way more valuable than Robinson or Brooks.

Agreed. Maybe not Harden, but a Brandon Roy type or something. They need a guy who is multi-faceted and can also give 18-20 efficient points. If you add that to letting the young guys develop, I can see 50+ wins annually. Currently, if they let this core develop I think you're looking at a 45ish win/6 seed type team.

I don't think Afflalo's going anywhere. Redick is expiring so he's an option this year at the deadline or as a FA. Marshon Brooks is buried behind JJ in Brooklyn. I would assume one of Tyreke Evans or Marcus Thornton would be available. Wes Matthews is out there. Jared Dudley, Nick Young, the list goes on. The question is do you want to fix the problem short term or long term? Do you want to take on some salary to do it or only look at younger guys on smaller contracts? Not many of the above names do much for me.

Hendo _ Mayo are soon to be overpaid, and Afflalo + Lee are overpaid. Corey Brewer is in the last year of his deal making 3.24mil and they have Jordan Hamilton+Fournier riding the pine. I'd go after one of them.
