Webster had *two* bonehead plays down the stretch - the obvious clear path foul (which only cost us three points, but still) and the ugly rushed fade away. he's usually better than that.

Dumb organization from top to bottom. Veterans making plays down the stretch like that?

Absolutely unacceptable.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

We have to be one of the worst free throw shooting teams in the league in the last minute of the game.

I'm always amazed how the law of averages works itself out. Nene had a great game in Portland and completely balances the scale with a god-awful performance tonight.

How to play like Nene HIlario:
Backs defender down
Up and under move
Misses lay up where he doesnt use backboard
Makes disgusted face at ref
Adjusts elbow sleeve
Puts hair back in headband
Runs back down court

5th game in 8th night, at the end of a west coast swing. They came out extremely sluggish and unfocused - especially on defense. Kudos to Wall for inspiring them to pull off a run, but they didn't have enough in the tank to finish it off - especially with Nene playing like he had walked on hot coals earlier that day.

We're kinda doing a Wall a disservice at this point, he has to try hard to create for our 2nd unit. 14-8 tonight, only 1 TO, in 27 mins. Shot relatively well at 5-11. I know we had more FT shots by 7, but we were getting destroyed going to the rim. Nene is probably the reason overall why we had to fight back so hard, but webster with out-of-character plays (at least for this season) down the stretch. Veterans owe the youngins an apology for laying an egg.

Wall needs to start, if we're gonna limit him to 30 mins, that's fine but at least ameliorate the flow of the game for him.

Wall and Beal played 5 minutes together tonight. Am I still not allowed to say Wittman is an atrocity as a head coach?

Its a good thing the board was down during the game because the vitriol I was going to post would have gotten me suspended.

Let's just say Martell's court awareness has been astoundingly bad in the 4th quarter. What was he doing with that clear path foul and then down four he jacks up a fading 20 footer with 15 seconds on the clock?

Nene has no lift, which is why he missed all of his point blank shots (Wiz lost the game because him).

I know Booker had 7 rebounds in 17 minutes, which seems good, but he's basically Jan on offense, however, he's posting up and driving to the hoop like it's part of the game plan. He's killing the offense because he's such a non-threat.

It's amazing that EG has had so many 1st round picks over the last few years and basically all of them, except the absolute no brainer's, are completely worthless players with very little to no potential at all.
