I imagine there will be a number of options batted around over the next several weeks. Just hope we do not deal for another marginal big. Either go get a difference maker or hold the cards till the off season.

I really might start calling Mullens "Lord Byron" because he's going to look like a lord when he returns in comparison to all our other terrible bigs. Why we haven't made a trade for a half-decent PF/C is beyond me. Warrick hasn't been horrible but let's aim higher than him please.

Whats really out there though. If we had the cap space the Speights trade would've been nice, but that wasn't an option. With the Celtics mediocrity, Brandon Bass was starting to look like a possibility..but now hes a starter. Warrick is a necessary evil, Charlottes that bad up front. I think the Bobcats need to scout the Kings and see how much they want to start over. Anywhere from taking a late season run with James Johnson to seeing how feasible trading for Cousins is.

Denver would never do it.

I wonder how little we could give to OKC for Thabeet? I'm sure they'd be interested in Sessions because I doubt that they can win it all with Reggie Jackson sparing Westbrook but we'd need a little more than Thabeet back for him. At least they could throw us one of Jeremy Lamb or PJ3. The Thunder will likely get a top 10 pick from the Raptors in the upcoming draft and as short as they keep their rotations it wouldn't make sense for them to keep so many young players when they are in win-now mode.

We could try sending Henderson to the Mavericks for Carter and a pick (Carter may put a LITTLE more seats in the arena since he's far from his highlight reel plays every night days, plus he could mentor the team, and the Mavericks get younger, and could develop Henderson a LITTLE more, and if they like him they'll resign him).....

Not sure if this belongs here, but I'm just curious what fellow cats fans would be willing to give up for Favors?

Ultimately, I don't think there is a package we could/should offer to pry him from Utah, but I personally think he would be perfect. Great defensive/rebounding big with offensive potential.

Again, just curious on your thoughts of fit and value

Any of our assets would be in play except for Kemba and MKG. I don't see the Jazz moving him though. Bright future for that guy.

I would want their 1st round pick or Sullinger. But Boston can probably get Calderon for such a high ask. And I don't think Boston would go anywhere far with either (Sessions or Calderon) so they might as well just fold up shop and move up in the draft the old fashioned way.

I doubt it would happen but I would love a Sessions for Sully swap.

I'd do it in a heartbeat but I'd be shocked to see them more Bradely for that little.

Anyone willing to trade Sessions better figure out what we do without him. Of course he's not untouchable; sending Sessions and Hendo out may fix one thing but open up another problem. Who handles the scoring? Sure isn't MKG (and will never be). Sessions should have decent trade value, particularly to a playoff team needing a PG.

It would be nice to dangle Sessions to two PG-starved teams on the fringe of missing the playoffs (Celtics and Mavs), both characterized as having demanding fans and win-now markets, and maybe incite a small bidding war.

Why do you guys want to move sessions so bad? He's one of our best players, great character, and his loyalty is unsurpassed. I'd argue that a more potent backup PG can't be found in the league.

Players we should be looking at moving are players who's production and presence can easily be replaced; people like Henderson, Thomas, Williams, Warrick, Diop and even Gordon are a dime a dozen in the league.

Because everyone on that list except for Henderson has zero or negative value right now. Sessions has value. I don't think we make a Sessions trade unless someone overpays.
