Wizards @ Spurs 8:30PM

Post#1 » by hands11 » Sat Feb 2, 2013 6:57 pm

Here we go

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/preview?gameId=400278422

Tony Parker and the NBA-leading San Antonio Spurs haven't lost in over three weeks.

Because we should have no chance of winning this one, you have to like the Wizards odds. Thats how they roll.

Beal Miami and OKC. Lose to SAC.

But it is on the road. Best they have beaten on the road is Portland and Denver.

So will Randy start Temple at SG again.
Will the Wizards get more then 3 FTAs

Stay tuned.

OK hands11, this is the line in the sand. Hope you can bring them some luck. I have to take my godson to a league game tonight, and I'll have to follow the score on my phone most of the game.

Another L, we will get crushed by 20 points. This team cannot score enough with Temple starting. Jordan Crawford or Ariza need to start. Also we need to stop with running the offense through the post every play. It's not working but Randy can't see it.

Thats a damn good question. I forgot he hurt his shoulder. I could easily see it would be more sore today.

Wall said he expects to be available when the Wizards conclude their three-game trip on Saturday in San Antonio. “If nothing is broke and I can run and jump, I feel like I can play through any type of pain. If it’s sore, I’ll play through it. But if something comes up that it’s injured, I won’t. I think everything is fine.”

Wall described the injury as a "stinger," but said that "nothing was out of place" when the Wizards' trainers looked at it. He admitted that he was playing through some pain during the second half, but he didn't think it was too difficult.

"When I got it moving, it kind of loosened up," he said.

Over/under 30 mins each for Ginobili/Parker/Duncan?

Over/under 10 boards for Splitter?

Tony Parker will have 30 and 12 dimes. He will kill Wall and the other PGs.

I think we can neutralize Timmy though.

Well it's groundhogs day so my wife and I will be enjoying our favorite movie instead of watching the Wizards. If you haven't seen groundhogs day it's a classic. It's a movie about a sad pathetic man who relives the same nightmare over, and over, and over--you know come to think of it sounds a lot like being a Wizards fan!

I'll probably watch a movie tonight or something after I rubber-neck a few minutes of the game.

Hope Nene has a good game so that the Spurs are tempted into trading for him.

I dunno what happened, but AMC all of a sudden became a cool network. It seem like it happened overnight with their original programing and movie selection.

True/False question for you guys

the last time the bullets/wiz posted 50+ wins was 1978-'79 when they went 54-28.

since 1978-79 every nba franchise has recorded a 50+ win season except for the bullets/wiz(and I am excluding the bobcats due to not enough seasons played)

T or F

I could only think of one team but i'm not too sure about them b/c they did have a good run in the '90s making it to conf finals

The Coyote is the only reason I am even watching this disaster of a matchup.

How much were the Spurs up before halftime this past November?

20 points?

30 points?

This one should get ugly but you never know. If we turn it over 20 times again, we lose by 25.
