From the microphones not working to Nick Cannon to Rick Fox to the Houston crowd to all the favorites losing in their respective competitions to the terrible musical selection to the terrible musical performances to the East/West idea to the god-awful 1st round of the dunk contest to the obviously rigged results (not saying Ross shouldn't have won but it was clearly fixed) -- you simply cannot dispute this was embarrassingly bad on all fronts.
Why do you think it was fixed? What did the NBA gain by Ross winning it?
It was fixed because the results were "in" before the closing of the voting and that Nick Cannon had a card in his hands reading the final results (including %s) well before the clock hit 00.
I don't think the NBA had anything to gain from it -- I think it was more about time constraints.
