Mark me down with OK, for this reason.

Ellis I'd say is 75% likely to opt out next year.
Smiff is 98% likely to opt out next year (Milwaukee factor).

Ellis is 50% likely to decline Milwaukee giving him top dollar for a better situation.
Smiff is 90% likely to decline Milwaukee giving him top dollar for a better situation.

I think like this too, but it will just lead to overpaying a different 3rd wheel type guy.

That's only if a 3rd wheel type wants to come here and how long the Bucks are waiting on Redick/Jennings /Smith. They might be too late if we're lucky.

From what I look at, the upcoming draft is loaded with good NBA prospects, and because of the lack of standouts, the best player may be taken in the teens.

Don't trade the pick.

Yeah I was just going to post this quote from that article...

Indiana, Milwaukee, Chicago and Minnesota have expressed interest in trading for Redick, but teams have been reluctant to give up a first-round pick and a good young player for a player who could turn into a rental for the rest of the season.

this is a terrible trade IMO. But I'm a big redick hater. I don't see how we would get roped into giving away our pick. If they have us theirs I'd do it. Or if we protect the pic and dump goooden

Surely no team will be stupid enough to give up their first for him. (Even us)

he's easily worth a first, just not from the bucks POV.

It's too bad Doron Lamb isn't ready to go. Otherwise we could just plug him into the SG spot, if Monta gets traded.

Hammond just needs to play hardball with Orlando and not give in to giving them a 1st rounder. I have no problem at all giving Orlando Mbah a Moute though.

Dalembert, 1st, Harris should be able to get us Eric Gordon. Or Luc,1st & or Udoh/Dalembert should be able to get us Jeremy Lamb from OKC.

Yup. Reddick is an instant offense 6th man on a contender. He's worth a #25-30 pick in the draft.

Too bad we can't load up a package like this (and add whatever else is needed) to go get Bledsoe.

That dude would be worth the gamble of giving up a ton of assets. And he's locked into a cheap contract for all of next year.

Even Eric Gordon I'd be happy to gamble on with our 1st. He's still contracted for a few more years. For us giving Orlando our first for Redick is beyond stupid. He doesn't put us over the edge.
