Right, but I don't understand the ''if true Billy King should be fired'' comment. He should be fired, but not for that rumor.

Not much of an asset?
How did you work that one out?
Talked to a couple of my Croatian buddies who know him well and they don't rate him highly. I have only seen bojan play once so I really can't say myself but I trust my friends opinion.

I'd do it depending on what we give up. Joe and Pierce from outside would be disgustingly deadly but there is no way in hell Boston trades Pierce to a division rival unless they are really committed to blowing it up.
We'd haunt the Knicks for years to come with a Joe/Pierce combo.

This draft is very weak.

im glad that the 24th pick in the 2015 draft might stand in the way of us and josh smith.
cause lord knows the second coming of josh boone or sean williams isnt worth sacrificing.
we can give a top 6 lottery pick for a soon to be free agent gerald wallace but not a late first in 2015 for josh smith who we wouldnt be able to sign as a free agent
brilliant
Kenneth Faried, Mirotic, Fournier or Sullinger.....
Agree with your point on Wallace trade but thats because King is an idiot. I don't agree with throwing picks around like confetti.

faried is good... i dont let any of those other 3 stand in the way of josh smith.
and your not getting a faried type guy in the mid 20's very often. hell your not getting a faried very often period

im sure bogs is good. im sure he could be a lotto pick.
neither of those change the fact that he isnt a major asset. you still have to buy him out and wait for him to come to the NBA. then you have to hope he makes a quick transition to the nba game. then you have to hope he contributes.

All those guys we're taken in the 20's in the last 2 drafts.
What I didn't want to happen might still happen......King might go into full on panic mode and push through a trade for someone like Pierce. He's bound to be worried about his contract finishing this summer.

i know, and my point was, even out of the 4 guys you cherry picked, faried is the only one that would make me hesistate to include him in a deal for smith. the other 3 i trade in a deal for smith without blinking an eye.

why wouldnt you want pierce?

Are you serious? You're the one touting trading four first round picks for Josh Smith, all because he seemingly solves the Nets problems, yet you would even question why someone wouldn't want Pierce?

Atlanta have the cap room to easily sign him this summer. Give him a good contract this summer and he will buyout his contract for $2m with Hawks paying $500,00.
What your saying is exactly the same as any college player, hope he transitions well and contributes. Bogdanovic is a very good asset. The fact the Nets are getting several trade inquires for Bogdanovic alone should tell you he has real value around the league.
The only reason he dropped in the 2011 draft was due to him foolishly signing a 3 year deal a few days before the draft which hurt his stock.

Re: Trade Targets, Part Deux
So a Bucks beat writer tweets that...
USA Today writer saying that Wizards pretty much out of it. NetIncome saying that he is getting no response from his sources now, meaning its "crunch time". So I guess that means its mainly us for now in conversation with the Bucks.
Sam Amick says that Nets are reluctant to include a second first round pick, in addition Hump, Brooks and a 1st rounder. If BK could somehow include a second 1st round pick, while also getting back Korver (who is an expiring) this season, that would be awesome. It would make it really tricky with salaries not matching, but if its somehow possible, it would be great.
On Bucks trade rumors front hearing Josh Smith is long shot & Redick talks are over. Bucks reluctant to trade 1st round pick

Unless King finds a third team to take on Hump, I don't see how we land Smith. Atlanta isn't taking salary back.
