BK has alot of experience of dealing with these deadline trades from the Dwightmare and the Melodrama. He wont budge. Ferry should already know this since he couldnt get Brooks in the JJ trade.

Kings a complete ass and has a history of overpaying.

The only deal that King actually came out on top of was the T Will deal where he got assets back.

PeterVecsey1: Confirmed NOLA shopping Gordon. Dialogue (little bit) w GST. He's off-dribble penetrator it lacks but already have 1 too many fragile guards

I wonder what it would cost for Gordon, Warriors are the only team showing interest at all.

JJ for Pierce? I think I'd do it.

Pierce for Joe Johnson would've open up a few possibilities with Johnson's huge deal off the books.

Would that allow us to sign Howard outright?

No lol.

We'd have to trade away D-Will or Brook for expiring to get good amount of cap space to sign D12

If Atlanta is asking for Curry from Golden State and Ellis from the Bucks why are they even on the phone with Billy? For **** and giggles?

I don't see the point of JJ for Pierce then.

I guess getting Broadway Joe Johnson for a handful of trash was overpaying too. SMH

The guy has been a pretty good GM for us. Trades and Draft picks.

I agree. Billy has rarely overpaid, in my opinion. Swapping picks with Atlanta zomg what a tremendous overpay that was!!

Now that Wallace deal...that was that rare instance.

It was cap crippling that's what it was.

The Gerald Wallace trade alone is an abomination of the highest order.

BK is a good GM? I think I missed the sarcasm font.

Johnson's contract is one of the worst in the NBA, in reality ATL should've given us a pick for a Johnson salary dump. In my opinion, it wasn't a good trade at all and has locked us in long term with no wiggle room.

Next time you two walk in to buy a car, I want you to say "we'll pay about five grand above the sticker price. And we want it empty, without any of the options, too!"

Not really going to get into this for the millionth time, but that "rare instance" is the exact reason why we're desperately hoping a team has a momentary brain lapse and trades us a star for garbage. That "rare instance" has most likely cost us the chance to contend. Imagine where we'd be right now if we had a top 5 pick to trade last summer? It's not something you can just ignore and say "Oh well, EXCEPT for that, he's been pretty good".

And how do you not do a Pierce for JJ trade from a Nets perspective? Way better contract, way better player, way more trade opportunities.

RT @tomhaberstroh: Josh Smith IS out on the court here in Atlanta, just in case you were wondering.
