BK has alot of experience of dealing with these deadline trades from the Dwightmare and the Melodrama. He wont budge. Ferry should already know this since he couldnt get Brooks in the JJ trade.

If the Bucks want him I think he is going to the Bucks.

Let me ask you one thing...

Are you ready to admit that Hump is not a desirable piece at least? That clearly he is viewed by the Hawks as a penalty and that our offer would be greatly improved in their eyes to take back anyone on an expiring contract NOT to have his contract for next season?

Or do you think that the entire sports media, all the GM's around the league and every poster here are still wrong and that Ferry wants to do the Humpty dance?

Look at the bright side, if nothing happens we will have a good shot at Zach Randolph this summer.

I could careless about Gordon really.

If you told me we could trade MarShon and Evans for someone like Jared Dudley I'd be elated though.

Haven't been a fan of Gordon ever since he left the Bulls I wouldn't expect him to go back to his 6th man way either the man got paid he doesn't give a f*** anymore

I think the fact that he can shoot the basketball would be a big boost off the bench, since we don't really have any shooters.

But I don't even care about his play, I just care about him as an asset. He makes slightly more money than Hump next year, which means, he's a slightly better trade asset next year, because we can take back more salary in a trade. That's the main reason I want to do the Hump for Gordon trade.

Kings a complete ass and has a history of overpaying.

The only deal that King actually came out on top of was the T Will deal where he got assets back.

The guy has been a pretty good GM for us. Trades and Draft picks.

While JJ has had a handful of exciting moments this season...when we took on JJ's contract 29 other GM's had a good laugh that day. And ownership took Ferry out for a nice steak that night.

Johnson's contract is one of the worst in the NBA, in reality ATL should've given us a pick for a Johnson salary dump. In my opinion, it wasn't a good trade at all and has locked us in long term with no wiggle room.

High contract, but he's won us games. I'm not trying to get into this again, because who knows what we would look like if we didn't get Joe.

Meh. Brian Scalabrine once won us games too.

Look. JJ was part of the OOOOOPS plan for King. It was wait, I could lose Deron because I didnt get Dwight? But Dwight wasnt my fault the guy flaked out on me. So? Panic! Make an unecessary trade for Crash's Bird rights. And just for fun...give up our single best trade asset in the process. I say for his Bird right because we could ahve just signed Crash over the summer. No one wanted to give him 3 years 24 mil...so what did we do? Bid against ourselves with 4 years 40. Then we took expiring contracts and cap flexibility to throw it at the Hawks for a big name player on the worst contract in the NBA...who HAS DECLINED the last two years.

This was all so that Deron would stay. That part worked. Nice job. But to commend the deal itself? Come on. And Hump is here making what he makes because we couldnt get Ilyasova.

Kink is impulsive. Has been his entire career.

Morey is a genius. They are sitting around $42m odd going into next season while he can cut Delfino and take Houston's salary down to $39m with Howard free agency coming up.

Lin
Harden
Chandler
Robinson
Howard

With Asik, Jones, Smith & Motiejunas still on the roster. Thats brilliant gm'ing by Morey, i mean he has played a brilliant hand in getting Harden while still having lots of assets going forward.

Assuming we wont land Dwight tomorrow...there is nothing I would like more than to see Dwight Howard leave LA and sign OUTRIGHT with Houston. No S&T...just SIGN and say "Kobe sucked to play with. No matter how many fans jock him behind the scenes no bigger ass in the sport".

Seems like Orlando wants a 1st rounder for JJ...I'd definitely give up a first rounder for him. He'd be a great addition.

Ben Gordon provides:

-Scoring punch off the bench
-A veteran wing player other than JJ/Bogans
-Someone who will be motivated to play in the playoffs again and especially in NY from Charlotte, Detroit years
-An IQ that Marshon Brooks has not developed
-Floor spacing
-Less minutes for Joe
-An attractive expiring contract

Billy: "NO STAY AWAY WE DO NOT WANT THAT"

I am going to be pissed off for the rest of the night at work tomorrow if I see it's past 3pm and there is no move especially when there is a team WILLING to take Kris and his low self esteem ass.

So that alone makes it a good deal for us.
