So the team with the worst offense in the NBA traded for the worst offensive player in the NBA. Well done!

Apparently David Aldridge laughed about the trade on NBA TV, as well he should.

And another positive, he's better than Fab Melo.
Maybe. He's better than Jarron Collins anyway.

Don't worry, Ted will parrot what Ernie sold him soon.

Ted's Take tonight:
Today we traded Jordan Crawford to the Celtics for Leandro Barbosa and Jason Collins. We wish Jordan only the very best and we hate to see him go. But in this league, in order to acquire skilled veteran talent, you have to also part with some talent too.
Leandro and Jason play the game the right way. They will be stabilizing influences in the locker room. And they're pieces that will mix well with our young talent to help us improve in our future. Welcome Leandro and Jason to the team.

Don't worry about the Wizards, just focus on securing that fifth seed because anything short of it and the Celtics are likely to get bounced 1st round.

Re: Big Balls traded to Boston for (almost) NOTHING
I'm beginning to wonder whether Ernie Grunfeld is working for his next job. I mean, this trade literally does sh*t for the Wizards. ****. It only can help Boston, since at the worst, they end up merely sitting Crawford if he sucks. The Wizards...get nothing...nada, zilch, zero...out of this trade.
I wouldn't be surprised if EG's next gig is with the Hornets, Celtics, or the NBA FO itself.

Time for a board contest.
From this point forward, who has the worse fouls-to-points ratio on the Wizards?
a) Collins
b) Vesely

Just imagine the internal struggle hands11 is going through right now. He has tirelessly defended Crawford and EG. Which side will emerge victorious?

That is one gigantic existential crisis right there. I predict he will somehow eschew his love of J-Craw in favor of holding onto EFG, a la the battered wife syndrome.

We should take bets...he'll probably take Crawful's side, I mean he was comparing the guy to Gilbert Arenas just 2 weeks ago.

Collins' current PER is 3.01. He hasn't had a PER over 6 since 2005.

Even though I keep telling myself its Pine writing this, it just seems so realistic. I almost expect Ted to post it tonight. AAAGGHHH!!!!
