On the flip side... if they do get the Sonics, it may not be so hard to leave the Magic behind. It will be like getting a new expansion team, the buzz around the city will be incredible and it would be the perfect time to start following that team for a new resident. Meanwhile, we're in stage 1 of a rebuild with a new GM, new coaches and only 3 players left from last season who are likely on their way out soon. It's a completely different team/organization from the one Raj followed for years, which probably helps lessen the blow. That being said, I'd have to at least keep tabs on the Magic if I were in his shoes... but I guess he's more focused on building his new life in a new place, which everyone should respect. After all, life is bigger than sports.

I believe they were introduced last year and here's what they looked like... kinda ugly imo...

They always keep the name the same with all teams. Like Los Bulls and stuff like that. I guess they just think it's enough to add just El or Los.

If memory serves me right, you follow the Magic, Nuggets, Pistons and Heat all because you lived in those areas in periods of your life. The Pistons were our rivals for a while and if they weren't so crappy in recent years, you'd be getting crushed for it here. Being a fan of an in-state rival is ridiculous as well... That's like someone following both the Clippers and Lakers or Rockets and Spurs... or Knicks and Nets...

This man does have a point, the only other teams I root for are the ones I dislike less than the other on any game I am watching

As a latino I find if ridiculous that the NBA/Magic thinks that putting "El Magic" on the jerseys is going to attract more fans. Plus I never ever heard anyone call the Magic "El Magic". We always say "Los Magic". The Spurs have the "Los Spurs" jerseys, atleast they get it right. We should get it right too. El Magic is ajoke, it don't even sound right.

I was horrible at Spanish in high school, but I suspect they use el instead of los because magic isn't plural like lakers, bulls, spurs, etc. They use El Heat for Miami.
