I was hoping I'd get to watch the Gary Neville post game analysis on my stream however I got the clueless Jamie Redknapp instead. Great post.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I love Neville's analysis in MNF, but I think even Alan Shearer could have seen most of the faults in Arsenal and Tottenham defence on Sunday.

He explains it well, which is far more than could be said for the analysis from Alan Hansen and Sol Campbell on MOTD.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Really hoping for a Tuesday Club pod this week. Shame there wasn't one last week, but there has to be one after the NLD.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
If we win the U-19 Champions League, does that count for anything?
Beat Inter, now we have CSKA Moscow at home in the quarter-finals.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I'll count it haha. At the very least, it shows that we have a lot of talented young players in the system...which is a good thing. Once we get all the useless bums off of the first team, we can spend on a few quality players, not quantity and fill out the 25 with younger players.
Even if we were only able to sell off all the guys we have out on loan (keeping only Frimpong and Miyaichi), I would consider it a success. I think both Squillaci and Arshavin are out of contract this summer.

Gnabry too, he's gonna be good. I like the look of Kris Olsson, as well. I don't have high hopes for either of the CB's unfortunately, doubt either will make the the first team. Angha could surprise, but I wouldn't put money on it. Bellerin and Ormonde-Ottewill the only defenders there I can see making the first team.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I like Emi Martinez, he's not playing in the NextGen side cause he's 20 now, but looks good for the reserves. He's probably our best bet for a young keeper, I think. He's made his full Arsenal debut earlier this year, and looks promising. Haven't seen too much of Iliev yet, he's been getting the games in the NextGen tourney, and he's looked steady for a 17 year old.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Benik Afobe tore his ACL while on loan, looks like he's going to lose another year. Don't think he's gonna make it at Arsenal, just too many injuries at a crucial time in his development. Hopefully he can come back stronger, he'll miss the U21 Euros this summer.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
yeah serge gnabry is a really good player as well , really sad about afobe's ACL tear , its not easy recovering from that and it limits you quite considerably but if he works hard he can get right back to where he was. Hard seeing him make it at arsenal but I hope he recovers well and we loan him out to an EPL side when he comes back

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Several reports Arsene is in Paris negotiating with Yaya Sanogo from Auxerre. Would be an interesting signing. I was hoping to grab Aubemeyang from St. Etienne, he might be available this summer, and looks a real dynamic talent. Sanogo seems similar.
