Which is why there's no way you get him.

I take it you're a troll with this and your Adelman comment?

I'm a huge Ricky fan and would love to see the Wolves do great. McLemore fits Ricky incredibly well, he's like the perfect SG for Ricky (Stephen Curry was another great fit). Unfortunately, Wolves (Kahn) have a history of making the worst possible decision when doing the right thing is so easy and obvious. My laugh was a desperation one.

Okay. I agree about Steph. I wanted him and Rubio - definitely not Flynn. Should have picked Cousins over Wes just because he was vastly more talented and trading him we could still get a nice return. Williams was the consensus #2 with some analysts stating he'd be the best player out of this draft.

Agreed. The sad, sad thing is that if you had asked Wolves fans in RealGM, I bet around 80-90% of them would have picked Curry instead of Flynn and Cousins instead of Wes. But Kahn had other plans in mind.
The mistake with Williams wasn't to pick him, it was to keep him. I cannot believe they didn't have at least a decent offer during the draft, definitely better than anything they can get from him now.

Derrick Williams was considered to have potential to become a future all star.

He still does, if you ask me. It's just that your franchise player happens to play that position already, so he will never get enough minutes to reach that level while playing for the Wolves. Which is exactly why he should have been traded long ago.

Holmes has pinned most of his hopes on the middle child, Shabazz.

According to the UCLA men's basketball media guide, he was born in Los Angeles on Nov. 13, 1993.

But a copy of Shabazz Nagee Muhammad's birth certificate on file with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health shows that he was born at Long Beach Memorial Hospital exactly one year earlier, making him 20 years old — not 19 as widely reported.

How and when he lost a year of his life are unclear. But competing against younger, smaller athletes, particularly in the fast-growing years of early adolescence, can be "a huge edge," said Eddie Bonine, executive director of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Assn. "People naturally look at the big, strong kids."

Asked about the discrepancy, Holmes insisted his son was 19 and born in Nevada. "It must be a mistake," he said.

Several minutes later, he changed his account, saying that his son is, in fact, 20 and was born in Long Beach.

*facepalm*

Yeah, like I said earlier: McLemore, Oladipo and maybe Harris over Muhammad. I don't think he's shown a whole lot besides volume scoring.

That doesn't really change anything in my mind.

With Shabazz you get a good but not great athlete. good spot up shooter. knows how to play in the post as a guard, which is a rare skill these days with any player. he plays extremely hard on the court, seems like the type of guy who will keep continuing to work on his game every summer. he has that drive, and its easy to see. He's not a great defender, or rebounder.

I still have him as my number 3 behind Mcelmore and Noel, but he has alot of potential as a scorer.

Our franchise player has sat out almost the entire year. Williams has had plenty of opportunity to establish himself.

I'd like to see us try & move up with the Memphis pick, maybe with a point guard to try and get WCS, or we can see if Steven Adams come out. He could be a nice developmental big behind Pek. Or package Williams - Zeller if he starts to slip or we could dream about Len.

Before Love got hurt, Williams averaged 8/4 on 41% and 17 MPG.
After Love got hurt, 14/7 on 42% and 29 MPG.
Only in the past month, 17/7 on 44% and 34 MPG.

See the trend? I think he's doing a pretty decent job establishing himself, for a 21 year old power forward who hasn't gotten any love from his coach in his two years in the league and whose team is based around the chucking ways of JJ Barea, Ridnour and Shved.

If bobcats the number 1 pick. We should offer Dwill + Memphis pick + maybe our lottery pick but that may be overpaying.

Mcelmore is the safest pick, and the best for us.

Fair enough. I don't know how good he'll become, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if he became an all star in the next 4-5 years. He most likely will never be as good as Love, and that's why you trade him while you can, because there are tons of teams in the league that would love to have a young athletic PF who can shoot like him.

Noel will be the number one pick.

Badgers continue to screw me. They always win when I don't want them to and now when I actually back them they fail me miserably. I shall have no more dealing with them, no sir.

My West bracket is all ugly. Had Wisconsin vs New Mexico in E8. Both out, as well as KState down big early. Gonzaga should coast. They can beat Ohio State
