Not sure why it's odd. I don't much like the team the Knicks have, as I've said many times. I don't think they're very good, I don't like a number of the players, and I don't think they'll do very well in the playoffs.

It's called about arguing with your big head.

Although I think I understand the general vibe of your post, I don't understand the structure of the sentence.

It's absurd.

They are a 39-31 team. We're a 44-26 team. The standings don't lie. We're the better team. That's all I care about.

If standings don't lie, there's no point in having the playoffs. Just give the championship to Miami.

Even if you have a 20% chance of an upset, when you hold 9 playoff series, it's going to happen somewhere.
In any case, it's not worth the effort to argue about something so obvious. I already have a bet with someone that the Bulls are not getting out of the first round. You're welcome to join.

Heh, nah I'm not that confident in my predictions. Besides, I don't disagree that the Knicks have a decent chance of beating the Bulls. I think the Bulls have a chance if Hinrich (sp?) is healthy and can play major minutes. The Bulls do better when they have him running the team.

Why? Because they beat a sleepwalking Portland team last night? The Nets for all their offense aren't a physical team or an extremely quick team that can shoot. Those are the two types of teams that have given the Knicks problems this season (see Bulls, Pacers, Rockets, Nuggets games). Physical is Chicago, Indiana and (probably) Boston (though Boston looks like they are finally on their last gasps). There are no real extremely quick, good shooting teams in the East (the Nets are a half court team and don't shoot real well as a team, the Hawks don't really have the weapons or the speed to be a great problem, the Bucks don't have anything enough and is only in the playoffs cause there's no better choice). And you have to add in Miami because, let's be honest, they still are the best team in the East. So the teams to fear, if there are any such teams (and let's hope the Knicks players and coaches don't feel that way) are still the Heat, Bulls, Pacers...and maybe Boston.

Did you see how Joe Johnson took the Knicks' defense apart the last time they played them? The Bulls and Pacers do not have one healthy player that could play at a superstar level the way Johnson is capable of playing. The Knicks have difficulty guarding the perimiter and guys like Deron Williams and Joe Johnson thrive when they are shooting the three ball.

The Nets are an okay team, but I'll be surprised if they make a lot of noise in the playoffs, at least this year.

Yeah but what's the Nets' future? They may not be able to keep Blatche who has helped them a lot. Lopez is really good but approaching his ceiling. Joe and Deron are not young players.

I expected them to do better this year than they did. I think Williams/Johnson/Lopez may still find a way to play better together, and maybe they can get some of the role players going, like Humphries, Wallace, and Brooks. A lot of ifs, I guess.

Lopez is the best scoring Center in the East. Nets are 10th best in rebounding. Lopez/Evans/Wallace front court has the lunch pail work ethic that compliments a solid back court. Do they have a superstar? No. They are the Nuggets of the East in that way. Nets can match up better with Chicago and Indiana better than the Knicks.

So be aware that match ups are going to play a critical role in the Knicks making the ECF.

Except by an injured, Rose-less Bulls team... lol!

No regular season record, no winning streak record, no titles record etc.

I told you this team wasn't unbeatable and that was proven last night. I can't prove it but I'm also right that they're not the best team ever either. You're smoking something if you not only think they'd beat Jordan and co. but especially Shaq/Kobe. I'm flat out telling you, Shaq would have averaged 30-15 easy if not 40-20 against this Miami team. Who would stop him? Quite frankly, there are a number of teams out there with hall of game big men that would take it to this Miami team. Fortunately for Miami, none of those guys exist except what, Duncan and KG? They're way past their prime. I would love to see these guys stop Hawkeem, a prime Duncan or whoever. A legit big man would take it to these guys. I would take Duncan/Parker/Manu in their prime over these guys head to head. If the Thunder weren't screwed by a new rule that forced them to give up Harden, Thunder would have been a much better team than Miami for years to come. Miami only beat them last year because Durant, Harden, Westbrook and Ibaka were all just 23 years old. That's just one year removed from college if you play all 4 years. They would have grown to be a much much better team.

This Miami team is great but best ever? You're out of your mind. Maybe top 10. They play in a weak conference and have far and away the best player in the world playing at the moment. Lebron was winning 60 games in Cleveland without Wade and Bosh. What you meant to say was Lebron is the greatest player in the world and would carry any team.

Seriously... if Miami wins out going 11-0, that's 67 wins. Lebron won friggin 66 games in Cleveland. Greatest team ever?? Unbeatable?? Smh. They might not even finish with a better record than Lebron had in Cleveland lol! They might not even win a championship either. I'd take the Clippers and Griz in a 7 game series with their bigs.

yep....its why you never see Melo bashers posting when we win but when we lose, theres a sea of "Iso Melo" posts. The best part of winning is that it keeps whiners mouths shut.

Nah, I don't really care about proving a point, I'm just stating how I feel about things. I just don't like this current squad much.

I don't think I've complained about "Iso Melo" a single time this entire season, but maybe you're not referring to me.

The Heat have had a lot of off games and gotten by because of the subpar competition.

Lol @ the hypocrisy.

Whenever we're on a good run and someone decides to criticize something in our performance: "Some folks just have an agenda and want this team to fail."

Whenever we're on a good run and there's nothing to criticize: "Complainers are quiet now, obviously they just want this team to fail."

would it be too much to ask some of the posters (we know who they are) to actually post good things about the team when they are warrented???

Keeping quiet and not posting when we win, and posting up a storm when we lose is kinda obvious isn't it???

i don't want to name names but its kinda obvious, look at the post game threads. There are a few names that dissappear during winning streaks or good wins.
