To be fair, the Knicks screwed themselves over for a decade. It's up to you whether to take it personal or not.
I really can't blame any fan for being disgruntled. There's still no way they should have given up Jeremy. To go from Jeremy's run to handing the team over to JR and Felton -- talent aside -- was wrong.
But the Knicks are having a good season and that's a good thing.
I will always think they went in the wrong direction UNLESS we really push the Heat in a playoff series or at least get to the ECF and don't crap out of that series. A good playoff run will at least partially absolve Dolan of his mistake. We'll know it when we see it.
I have to be honest that I'm with Falstafxx that I don't see it happening. I think JR and the team will disappoint us next month. I think there are at least even odds they lose first round. But it also wouldn't absolutely shock me if they do make a playoff push. I'd bet against it but not with my heart, just with my head.
I'm a Knicks fan, not a fan of my opinions. I chose not to watch last night but when I saw Felton's good statline and Lin's quiet game (not a bad game but a quiet game), I got a sense of relief/happiness because for me, Knicks > me.
