I don't think Hoiberg's out of their league, he just has his dream college job. But, I think that's what you meant. If he were anywhere else he'd probably already have said yes. Only way Hoiberg's leaving Iowa St. is to coach a pro team.

I just know that they are going to go for a guy who probably has shown his peak. Somebody like a Buzz Williams. The Gophs need to swallow their pride and say they aren't a top program and take a risk on an unproven assistant who has the ability to make them a top program.

Zeller cannot handle bigs that are physical, he seems too soft. Like Mbakwe, he completely outmuscled him on both ends.

I don't think that one game can move or drop a player.

But I sure hope Oladipo falls down some.

Oladipo is going to get eaten up by NBA guards with length. Zeller is who we thought he was. He just got an early look at his NBA career last night.

Zeller looked like a poor man's Rick Rickert out there.

Looks like Gary Harris is staying in school.

I am actually starting to look more forward to the Memphis pick. Gorgui Dieng looks like a perfect backup C for us. Long, good defensively, has some pretty passes... Pretty much what we need off the bench from our C if Pek stays, which he should. Adetokunbo is also a pretty intriguing prospect.

As for our own pick, with Noel, McLemore, Porter and Oladipo all possibly gone when we pick around #7-10, I wouldn't mind going for Gary Harris. Great 3 point shooter, good athleticism and defensive potential. He is also very young and can go to the basket as well.

I'd be thrilled if we could snatch him, but I cant imagine Dieng lasts that long. Probably have to go for Muscala or P Young if we want a center.

I'm starting to think the same about those 4 SGs all being gone when we pick - Harris or Porter are the only other 2 guys I could envision. Man I hope this draft doesn't end up pissing me off.

I'm wondering about this Rudy Gobert guy too - draftexpress says he has a 7'9" wingspan? That's outrageous. W/ that length and athleticism, I'd be tempted to draft him on that alone.

I have us taking Shabazz with our first pick.

Then we take a flyer on Saric with our second first rounder.

 I hope not.

Right now we're #8, I can see us getting passed at least once and end up at #9 missing:

Noel, McLemore, Burke, Smart, Muhammad, Bennett, Oladipo, Porter.

We're going to get screwed once again, it's just a amtter of time.

 FAIL

I believe he's still the top choice for the Duke job though, right?

Kind of shocked that Flip turned down the job. I don't think he was the right guy, but I thought he'd take it for sure.

:censored:

Shabazz is basically Michael Beasley, if Beasley sucked in college.
