I've always been partial to Pokey. Or Bubbles.

I hate most nicknames. They seem so forced. Nobody calls Paul Pierce "The Truth". It sounds stupid.

Magic Johnson and Doctor J, now THOSE were nicknames.

I've been calling him "Johnny Ballgame" at times but I must admit that I like "The Operator," works well with "The Phone Booth." Hey, we could even have an illustration of Wall coming out of a phone booth with a cape and tights and a big "O" on his chest. :)

Needs to get more rebounds before I could condone him doing something that suggests "Big O". ;)

Yeah, the real "Big O" would be hard to top. I happen to believe that you can make the argument that he was the best ever.

I've already suggested "The Bullet"

I also like "Commander & Chief"

How 'bout John "the Bee" Wall. He could be the second coming of Ali, but on the basketball court.

Yeah I think I started Johnny Ballgame. But I like handsy's inspiration: John Wow.

Or Johnny Wild when he's off.
