San Antonio has waived Stephen Jackson, league source tells Y! Sports.

I'm surprised by this.

With Wallace's injury, we should pick him up.

Abso-freakin-lutely we should.

It would be an incredible addition. would add competitiveness, toughness, and defense to a team that sorely needs it. guy has his issues but he is a complete gamer. i think his impact would far surpass his talent/production

What's the point? He can't play in the playoffs.

Oh, I didn't know that was the rule.

If that's the case, then there's no point obviously lol.

Yes. He can't play in the playoffs but in the offseason he should be #1 on the list since his value will be low.

Although NYC + SJax is probably the worst possible combo...If JR and Blatche can stay out of trouble, so should he.

Good fit here but he must have done some serious **** to get waived from a top contender right before the playoffs begin. He has been a headcase throughout his career (although he brings the effort on the court, as long as he's playing in a good situation). Although Spurs were a great situation obviously, and he apparently was unhappy with his role.

He'd be an excellent pick up for next season for cheap. And maybe getting his old Charlotte buddy would light a fire under Gerald's @$$.
