check out the video from the uncle just now....now it seems like they felt left out in their personal lives and turned to radicalism or something...just incredible.

1.political violence: violence or the threat of violence, especially bombing, kidnapping, and assassination, carried out for political purposes

Don't know where you got your definition but the internet doesn't seem to agree with you...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Definitions_of_terrorism
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/terrorist

While political motive can certainly be a factor, it is not necessarily a requirement to define an incident as an act of terror or not, as it should be.

He's a 2nd year medical student so a bit smarter/disciplined than your average kid. That said, he's probably going to put a bullet in his head the same way Doerner went out.

2nd year med student at 19 years old? I don't think so, probably just a second year student doing pre-med. You generally have to have an undergrad degree before applying to most profesional schools. I don't even know if the school he's said to be going to has a med school.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism

Common definitions of terrorism refer only to those violent acts which are intended to create fear (terror); are perpetrated for a religious, political or, ideological goal; and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants (civilians).

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ ... sm?&path=/

the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/terrorism

Systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective.

That is where. It's not difficult.

A terrorist is one who engages in Terrorism. The term we are looking for is Terrorism.

So yes, the internet does agree with me. Sorry.

You know, I never thought they'd get anything conclusive from video, but it seems they got enough to scare those guys into robbing a gas station. The events of this whole thing are so bizarre. I'm glad they tracked down the people responsible though. This last guy's days are numbered. I'm assuming he'll end up killing himself somewhere. Crazy.

Also, anyone else getting tired of hearing the term "improvised explosive device"? It's a damn bomb. I'm not sure what's so improvised about it other than the sanitizing of the language. PEACE.

Improvised - To make or provide from available materials

It's just fancy talk for "homemade bomb"

I'd think him getting killed by officers or national guard more likely especially since his brother died. I just don't believe he'll go out without a showdown if he can't escape.

EDIT 183 12:55: "Everyone take cover. No more units."

EDIT 182 12:55: "A person is being held there by gunpoint."

EDIT 181 12:54: A man is trying to get through security but has no credentials.

EDIT 180 12:53: "Woman is texting her mother than she is being held by a man with a gun"

Did anyone hear that?

From all the reports of Dzhokhar, he seems like a really misled kid. I'm obviously not excusing him for what he did -- it was terrible and disgusting. But I think there may be a chance he finds a shred of dignity inside himself before this is all said and done.

I think this is the case of the big brother being completely messed up and taking the younger brother under his wing. Meanwhile, the younger brother doesn't share the same contempt for America and is actually fitting in nicely but, due to the bonds of brotherhood, follows through with big brother's plan. I feel like he may be more scared than anything right now, especially after seeing his face plastered everywhere and anywhere.

Or maybe I'm reading way too much into this and he's a F'ed up, disturbed kid who has absolutely no moral compass.

Misled or not, the question at the current time is just how much he wants to live. If he's already half insane, he'll kill himself because crazy guys don't care whether they live or not. If not, he's MUCH more dangerous because he's desperate to survive and not be taken in.

I know I'm late on this but this suspect is not the missing college kid? Or he is?

It is the college kid, 19 years old.

EDIT: not the original kid they nabbed but this one was in fact a college student at Dartmouth

You've stayed up over 24hrs huh? I don't blame you. I wouldn't be able to sleep either knowing he's still at large.

No, he is not. That was a false report based on reddit users who jumped the gun.
