Any see the debut of our new German/American youngster Gideon Zelalem for the U-21's against Liverpool?

Looked very composed for a kid who just hit 16. People saying he'll be a first teamer within two years

Never seen him play yet but from what i've read he's going to be fast tracked into the squad and play in the carling cup matches next year. Excited to see him play because all i've heard is rave reviews comparing him to cesc and jack.

Rosicky back for the game tomorrow night. We're getting our players back and hitting form at the right time, hopefully we can keep it up.

Arteta's doing pretty well this year. We're being linked with Gonalons now as well, who would be a great fit as a holding mid.

Certainly promising. Gnabry scored a hell of a goal too

Every year, it seems someone from Anderlecht expresses a desire to play for Arsenal. First it was Biglia, then Suarez, now it's their centre back Cheikhou Kouyate.

I believe Arshavin and Squillaci are out of contract this summer (FINALLY). It looks like we'll finally sell Bendtner, Chamakh, and Djourou. Hopefully someone clubs are dumb enough to buy Andre Santos, Denilson, and Park too. I wouldn't be too upset about losing Diaby, Fabianski, or Mannone either.

Just looking at squad numbers, it looks like we'll have 2-3 open spots to fill if we can dump the garbage guys (I feel like I've been saying this forever).

Fabianksi is out of contract, too. Bendntner, Chamakh, Sagna onto the last year of their deals. Looks like Gremio want to keep Santos, and Djourou should be staying on at Hannover. We'll finally be clearing out some of the dead wood.

Didn't Santos get called up to the national team recently? I think they could get rid of him pretty easily if they wanted to.

Yep, surprisingly he won his 24th cap for Brazil. I don't think he'll be too hard to unload, Djourou either. Park on the other hand...

Yes, but I believe they just picked a squad full of only players with club teams in Brazil.

Makes sense. It must be an absolute headache to pick the Brazilian team.

It'll be nice to not lose a focal point of our team this summer, as well. It'll keep us from having such a rough start to the season like we've had the last two years while we adapt.

Koscielny and Mertesacker have been very good together. Only four goals against in our last eight games, with four clean sheets, since Vermaelan was dropped.

I really hope you didn't jinx us with that lol. I'm hoping we pick up a 4th center back, as insurance in case we get hit by the injury bug again.

Tomorrow's headline: Daniel Alves and Sergio Busquets think Santi Cazorla would be a great addition to Barcelona

They already did that with Wilshere! They can have Cazorla if they give us Cesc back. I miss Cesc

the problem with these players has never been that they do not have skill (heck they made it to the top of there field), the problem is the teams that are willing to take them or they could make an impact cant afford there salary.
(same with squillaci and bendtner and so forth)

We need a lot of things. Striker, 4th center back, defensive midfielder, veteran goalkeeper, a different owner.

I'm hoping that with the high number of Gonalons to Arsenal rumors, it will actually happen (and maybe it means Diaby will finally be gone) so that might take care of one need.

Hell yeah, Cesc would be awesome.

Can we buy a cheaper striker instead?

Gonalons would be a great fit. Excellent passer, good defender, great engine, and reads the game well, plus he's got the power and size that Arteta lacks in the holding role. Schneiderlin from Southampton would be good too, but I'd prefer Gonalons.
