I hate speaking in definitives but Kobe's isn't getting amnestied!!! It can't happen! It won't happen! (I hope)

Kobe is the kind of guy that handles challenges extremely well! If anybody can bounce back from his type of injury it's Kobe Bean Bryant! Keep saying he can't! Keep saying he won't! Kobe will use that to motivate himself to prove you wrong!

Do you really want to be the person that doubts Kobe? Really?
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D

cant simply amnesty kobe and get under the cap. we'd still be ~10-12 mil over the cap (we're still hovering around the LT threshold)

without a massive deal practically dumping 20 mil of our remaining 40 mil expiring contracts (pau, hill, MWP, blake), we're not going to get anywhere close to signing anyone of significance

Even without amnestying him, doesn't insurance cover some of his contract for next year?

Lets be real .. Kobe's contract even sitting on his ass, pays Kobe's contract and the taxes without a problem. He was worth at least an estimated 89m annually to the team, just him according to buss years ago and the most profitable franchise player according to Forbes in the teams history back in 06
