The Heat Hater Timeline

Post#1 » by TRG » Wed May 1, 2013 7:34 pm

Enjoy!

1) LeBron during free agency: "We love you LeBron. Play for my team plz. You're the best"

2) Big 3 join forces in South Beach: "LeBron is a coward. I hate that guy... Always have always will. He will always be known as Robin to Wade's Batman. This Heat team is like a video game and they're gonna ruin the league they're so cheap and OP."

3) 2011 season starts and Heat start slow at 9-8: "I knew this Heat team was destined to suck. Wade and LeBron are a terrible fit. Bosh is soft."

4) Heat go on a huge streak afterwards: "I told you guys this Heat team is so cheap. They have 3 superstars it's so unfair."

5) Heat lose in the 2011 Finals: "I knew this Heat team was destined to suck. Wade and LeBron are a terrible fit, and LeBron is a career choker who will never win a ring. Bosh is still soft."

6) 2012 NBA Finals: "Thunder in 5. Durant is better than LeBron cuz he's not a choker and is the most clutch player in the league. Plus Wade is rapidly declining and Bosh is softer than Charmin."

7) Heat win 2012 NBA Finals: "Not impressive. Jordan won 6 and didn't have to join forces with two other superstars despite the fact that one is rapidly declining and the other is softer than a wet sponge. This Heat team is cheap and OP and video game-like but at the same time they're one of the worst championship teams in the past decade. Plus LeTravel promised not 5... not 6... not 7.."

8) Lakers join forces in the off-season: "Now THIS is a powerhouse team. They're gonna challenge the 72-10 Bulls record. Steve Nash is such a noble guy for joining his career nemesis cause he only did it for family reasons unlike that deceitful Ray Allen fellow (Jason Terry is so much better for the Celtics anyway). Heat stand no chance."

9) Heat dominate the 2013 regular season (present day): "This Heat team is still not impressive. Only reason they're able to crush everyone is because they have 3 superstars and one of the best 3 point shooters in the league (but Jason Terry is still much better, Wade is no longer a top 5 player, and Bosh was never a franchise player). Plus everyone else is broken down. Easily the weakest era in basketball history. And the East sucks. Who cares if the Heat were able to crush Western Conference teams as well? They only did cause they have 3 superstars in a watered down Eastern Conference. They'd probably struggle to maintain the #3 seed out in the vastly superior West. Carmelo Anthony 4 MVP."

THE END. 8-)

OT, Caliban,

Why in the hell would anyone like the Lannisters?

Every Lannister besides Terian can EAD.

The episodes with Arya as his servant did give him a human side that seemed far more kind or at least relatable. Although the most recent episode made me hate him all over again. I am growing more found of Jamie now too. The way the books are written you kind of see the world from each characters POV, and like in life, no one wakes up thinking "YEAH I'M THE BAD GUY/DOUCHEBAG EVERYONE HATES!!" They think they are doing what's right, good, necessary, for the best, etc, etc.

Anyways, I digress. We must be the best but worst and stacked yet unworthy team ever! Lebron should have did the honorable thing, like non-coward and awesome Dwight/Deron/Rose/Durant/Melo (all experiencing tremendous success), and let GM's throw together teams for him because that usually works out great!

I'm honestly still baffled that people are up in arms that players decided where they wanted to go and who to play with.

Yes, you've just about covered it. The list will get longer as the playoffs goes along.

They'll probably keep going on about how cheap the team is while simultaneously discrediting how good they are at every opportunity they get.

I gotta say though watching the narrative change on the GB throughout the past 2 and a half years has been extremely entertaining.

Ya know, I've never got that "half of the league went down for Miami to win a championship". You think 15 years from now that people will look back at all the injuries that happened to teams that Miami is better than? Hell No. I could go on for days how inferior the competition was to MJ's Bulls back in the 90s. I guess basically when your'e a dominant team and heads above better than every other team in the league then it makes the league watered down

That asterisk on our championship excuse is a RealGM classic. There was nothing easy about last years playoff run, that's for damn sure...

You should add something between 5-6. When we were down to Boston a lot of people were getting excited for another Lebron "choke"
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

I won't even give the name of the poster but the following quoted post is exactly what I'm talking about... Pulled it right off the general board just now.

Adding fuel to the flame, it's not hard when you are playing on a team of all-stars. Your value diminishes because e\others carry the load too. He may be the best player out there, but in this case does nto make him the most valuable player to a team. Heck, I think Carmelo Anthony is more valuable to the Knicks cause he's carrying that team. Just more of the LeBron is King hype in this soft NBA. Let him play against the Oakleys and rodmans and Xavier McDaniels and he'd be hiding behind David Sterns apron for allowing the NBA to play defense on him.

The poster first accuses the Heat of being "cheap" for having so much talent but then goes on to suggest that LeBron and the rest of the Heat would be much less effective in a different era... What?

How can a team be so stacked yet so outclassed when compared to other great teams?

Ahh, yes, the topic where people who incessantly whine about Miami being unfairly stacked go on to pick their opposition with "ease". You could replace Chicago with any other all-time great team here, and everybody would pick that team with "ease". Then they'll just turn around and whine a little more about how stacked Miami is and how unfair it is. What can you say, hate tends to make you blind and shameless.

^Sums up my thoughts perfectly.

And LeBron's forehead has pretty much tripled in size since coming out of high school. Sh*t isn't normal to say the least...

The Barry Bonds of baseball. All for not. He isn't no "great basketball player" but instead, an Athletic Freak of Nature due to... HGH. And last but not least, LeBron James has never won a legit NBA championship. During a shortened season with just about zero training camp/preseason. Wake me up when he wins an actual LEGIT title.

Great post, TRG. We should bookmark this thread and keep it updated. Anytime we read a hypocritical complaint, we just post a link to this thread and laugh.
