He managed to get minutes for the Lakers and made the team despite them almost never paying rooks any mind. His advanced stats were prety awesome, over 23 PER with an ORTG of 117, so the stats agree with Sacre being pretty good. I actually wouldn't mind the Wiz trading for him.
Wow, do I feel dumb now. Sacre Looked pretty good in Summer League with a college PER of 24, huh? And I was worried about Olynyk barely playing for two years before a redshirt junior year? Egg-on-my-face.
Look, the bigger picture is that KO didn't establish himself until what was effectively a senior season. There's no way that there's a discussion of him as a draft prospect without that being thrown in. Does it mean he's a disaster or doomed as a prospect or a bad pick for us? No, but it it most certainly needs to be addressed and there needs to be a reason why he can be simultaneously a difference maker in the NBA and a guy who only broke out in his last year at Gonzaga.

I don't really know what the story is, but his DX profile is suggesting that he toned up more than gained weight.

Redistributing the 240-pounds on his 7'0 frame and having significantly improved his conditioning, the once somewhat soft, gangly, oversized stretch-four now looks the part of a NBA center. He has gotten noticeably stronger, especially in his upper body, and while he still lacks great explosiveness, his bulked up frame hasn't had a negative impact on his excellent mobility.
