What is our CAP situation for next year?

Post#1 » by itsmrhappy » Thu May 16, 2013 8:15 pm

For next year, assuming a salary cap similar to this past year of approximately 59 mil, my questions are...

If Dwight is signed, his 9 years (drafted in 04) of experience entitle him to 30% of the cap or 17.7 Mil, right?

That means with Kobe, 30 mil, Pau 20 mil and Dwight, 18 mil - we are already at 70 million.

That means to keep Metta, Steve Blake, Steve Nash - roughly 20 million, we pay a $2.75 tax for every dollar spent, right?

Also, what exeptions do we have??? Are we just screwed?

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't look too good.

PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.
