Agon's HR was a fastball right down the middle, above his knees. looked like a mistake pitch to me.

we need a win like this one.

a struggle win to earn the series.
builds character.

so far this team...if they don't hop out 2-0 or 3-0 on a team, wont fight for anything.

what's killing me is that we are not hitting badly, but badly when we have RISP. it seems to me we have too many situations where we have runners on second and third with two outs and guess who is at the plate, dee gordon, luis cruz, juan uribe, skip shumaker or juan uribe. i think our lineup card has a lot to do with our lack of production aside from total lack of luck. seems to me team-tying HRs and all the hits carl has generated so far this season would have been far better served if there was someone hitting in front of him. kemp with no slg and yet having gone through a long hitting streak of singles, he would have been served better as our leadoff during that spell. luis cruz would have been better served as a trade bait in off season. juan uribe signing 3 years ago make casey for santana deal look like a genius move by ned, and to this date i hate trading away santana for casey as much as i hated the tuck rule.

this team is doomed. at least i get to enjoy one bright spot that is ryu acclimating to MLB. i look for this kid to become a left handed version of greg maddux for years to come, to complement two fireballers in front of him as kershaw and full health greinke leads our rotation.
ehhhhh f it.

Sorry about that... I thought what you guys were talking about was valuable and I didn't want to bury it in the other threads. I think it might be interesting later to see what happened in the games in a single running commentary.

just in our defense, there ain't nobody posting around here other than me and quake, so wherever we start up a conversation regardless of the thread topic, becomes our game thread of the day. we'll try to be more on the topic from now on.

hey mod, how about you joining us in some of the convo?

I'll be doing that for sure. The games have just been on at awkward times for me lately. I always end up checking what happened later.

loving the fight...
we need to fight for this man.
we need to earn the momentum by playing the right way.

plus anaheim is coming in winning 8 in a row.
but I'm in no way scared of cj wilson or joe blanton.

let's go kershaw.

all we need is a pop fly.
