I'm moderately surprised we passed on Gray, but I can't say I disagree with the choice. I like it.

Before Theo's first draft, it got out that his optimum draft strategy was to take the best bat available first, followed by as much pitching depth as possible. We saw that last year, after Almora it was all pitching. I bet the same thing happens this year. I like that strategy since pitching prospects are generally riskier.

My thoughts exactly. I do think there might have been more questions about Appel and Gray than we thought as well.
