Saw this on the Bucks' board and thought it would generate a great deal of....fan interest:

Can we call the trade 'Ersanity'?

I think its a good risk our objective is to be more than a 6th seed and lets be honest okefor and nene are good but not big future pieces.

And Ersan is our 4 of the future?!? Yes, Nene and Oak are no spring chickens but they only anchored this historically bad team to the 5th best defense in the league. Really people? I can't believe what I'm reading.

Hes 26 years old vs nene and okefor age. how can you sit here saying he potentially can't be a futuristic piece at the 4?

And losing one of Okefor or nene wont hurt us they have to go either way any ways just saying! its not like we down the line can not find defenders we need more scorers and people to spread the court.

man the hate for this guy is crazy! nene and okefor are old time to get younger we will need about 5 more years to consider maybe a championchip I rather have a young expensive player than a old injury prone players.

If they take NENE Jan 3, and its erson Henson, and some filler and 15 i could live with that
or
Ariza, Jan chris and 3 for Ersan Henson and 15
i could live with that.
but those were not to popular in the bucks threads, and it seems like they don't want to give up sanders or Henson. which If Henson is not in the deal with the 15th pick i would rather not do the deal at all.

Who cares what is popular on the Bucks threads? Of course they don't want to give up more. But their GM is just as bad, if not worse, than ours. If a trade would down, it could easily be a disaster in EITHER direction.

No matter what happens, I think we all can agree that they shouldn't trade the pick before the draft happens. Noel could very well slip to us.

Trade rumor being shot-down, but it was very believable because of Ernie's track-record.

Peter Vecsey: And another thing; report on line that Bucks and Wizards are discussing Ersan-No. 3 swap is crazy wrong. Herb Kohl likes Ersan more than me.

Nice to know. As long as we keep the pick, we will get lots better. Trades with EG at the helm are badness...

It's no way in the World even Ernie would trade the 3 overall pick for Ersan. It's a rumor started by Bucks fans. No one on their roster is worth a top 5 pick. The sad thing is some fans are worried because EG has such a bad track record. I hope someone from the Wizards speaks up and shoots down this trade.

Yes we are going to need a younger frontline sooner or later, but Ersan CANNOT give us what Nene or Oak gives us at this moment. Not even close. He got abused by Miami....MIAMI!! With no frikkin bigs!! And you would consider him our 4 for the future?? Even as a joke it's not very funny.

I get upset each time he does it. It's tragic to have to endure but I guess it's inevitable the guy will do another head-scratcher.

Ersan is a damn good player, he can put up 25/10 any given night and is one of the best shooters at the 4 I've seen.

His defense is not that bad, he is great at taking the charge. Also a great rebounder, I'd say his value is around the 5th pick in this draft. He'll be really good for you guys for a few years if this trade goes down, don't want to see him go as a Bucks fan at all.

Look at some of those games he was putting up consistently the second half of the season, he was slumping hard for the first month or so for whatever reason. Im guessing it was because of Skiles, because Scott Skiles is crazy.

Exactly. So why would we trade Okafor and #3 for #5?

Ersan + 15 + LRMAM+ Udoh is worth the 3 I'd say. Lrmam is an absolutely elite defender, I've seen him give Lebron fits multiple times, good player to have on your team. Udoh is also a really nice player to have on your bench, does a lot of things right on the court, doesnt show up in the box score, phenomenal help defender. You guys can even throw Ariza in there. Its close for sure!

You guys would really like Ersan, he's a serious beast at times.

Lol you make it sound like he's a top 5 forward. Anyone can have a monster game on any given night. I like Ersan, but I see his value being more like...7-9 in this draft.
