Doc to Brooklyn or Memphis makes a lot of sense. Vet coach for vet players.

Not sure how this would work or the direction of the Magic FO, but Doc for President of Basketball Ops? Still resides in Orlando and I can't see him coaching another team. I recall him saying he'd like a chance to sit back and watch his son play. Hell, I'd even take him on the sidelines sitting next to David Steele next year.

I'd love Doc to be involved in the Magic organization again, but having another coach involved might make for some internal tension in the organization.

I like hearing Henny spent time in Europe with Utah and Dallas, he's looking at picks hopefully.

Did he not make it back for mclemore's workout?

i'd say Doc will probably want to sit for a year, maybe do some commentator/analyst stuff, then will weigh up his options.

if we were looking to compete next year or the year after, we might entertain bringing him in. but i'd imagine Hennigan is going to give Vaughn his due chance to put a winner on the court first. i think they both still know that next year we need a high draft pick and player development more than a few extra W's, so that's a free year for JV. but maybe if by 2014-15 if he's not able to get the team to start winning games, we might look to go with someone more experienced.

Doc will be coaching here in 2-3 years if JV doesn't prove he's a winning coach (once we get the right talent). I can see Doc just sitting out for a while, maybe doing some tv gig. He'll just be relaxing and waiting for the chance to coach Wiggins while being close to his family

In 2 years if JV doesn't start winning then Rob will pull a Riley/Popovich and become the dual coach/gm

OT: But after E3, what are you guys leaning towards for the next gen gaming system? I was leaning towards Xbox One until I heard that Sony will not enforce the blocking of playing used games and won't enforce an always online strategy. Also, the PS4 being $100 cheaper makes a big difference too.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

I am an avid Xbox fan that will not be buying a Xbox One. I'm not a fan of the ps3 controller, so we'll see about that. I bought a badass graphics card for my pc recently (playing with a wireless 360 controller) and don't know if I'll ever buy a console again (nothing at E3 looked better than what I'm currently gaming at). That said, PS4 vs XOne can be summed up with the biggest public relations win I've seen in a while:

I always loved PC games over Console. Just like the saving and more options for gear. Same with sports games too for stats n stuff. Just me though even though I have a PS3, I hardly play it. Actually, I hardly have time to play any games it seems!

Lest we forget about Doc.
When he was here, none of us thought he could coach. Most wanted him gone.
He wore TMac out, basically got the ball to him and let everyone else watch.
Pat Garrity and DA should have been all stars if someone would have gotten them the ball on the 3 point line.
When he first got to Boston, the fans wanted him gone also....
Untill he lucked out and got the first big three.
I mean how much coaching did he have to do with those vets?
And now people think he is the GCOA?
I want to see him with an average team that he takes somewhere before he gets all this great coach credit.
Is he that good now or did he just luck into a situation that made him look good?
As for him commentating, have you heard his gruff voice? It sounds like he has been screaming for the last 5 years.
Not so good for TV.
Just saying........

I currently own Xbox, but will be getting a PS4 for sure. Lots of ppl are making the jump. It's cheaper and the hardware is better.

That probably doesnt mean much considering he has a lot of ground to cover before the draft. With the amount of time they spend evaluating players I'm sure he knows alot about what he could bring to the team already.

Absolutely nothing?

Rob has a full staff of scouts, trainers, etc. and has access to all kinds of 21st century technology. A GM doesn't "miss" a player's workout lol.

Could I be able to know your source? Or you work for Magic?
