Game over.

Series over. Spurs are spent. Game 7 will be a double digit win

I know everybody wants the Spurs to win, but I for one am happy for a game 7. This has been unbelievably high level basketball and fun to watch all series between two willful teams. Wasn't ready for the next game to be September.

Spurs blew it by sitting Duncan late in the 4th...and it cost them series

fatlever wrote:green also fouled.

I'm not arguing it wasn't a foul but Green flopped and made it look worse than it was, it is for sure called in the regular season. As far as Manu's non call it sure looked like he walked before the foul but I didn't have the benefit of a replay. Missed calls both ways.

How is this for how close the Spurs were to winning a title, the NBA had roped off the court and they were rolling the trophy by the ESPN on ABC crew with about 25 seconds to go in regulation. I am not sure that anyone has ever come closer to winning a title than that.

Their free throws also cost them this game. Kawhi and Manu both missed 1.

leaving Duncan in to grab a rebound could have won them the game as well.

But that's basketball, easy to point out in hindsight what should have been done.

Heat basically gave Ginobili a vasectomy and no foul was called. Ridiculous.

Did Popovich not learn anything from the game where Vogel took out Hibbert for the last possessions of a game just like this one???

Bosh came up huge in the fourth, he impacted the game in every way.

Way too much hate for Bosh imo.

Damn it, damn it all!!! Dear god, I hope the Spurs have the mental strength to come back with a good game one more time. If anyone can do it, it should be the Spurs but I'm not even sure about them being strong enough to get up one last time after a loss so devastating. They were 20 seconds away from a title.....

I'm gonna cry, if Miami wins...

Per WT:

"DeMarcus Cousins is eligible for a maximum contract this summer and a trade demand looms if he and the Sacramento Kings are not able to reach a deal.

In the meantime, Cousins has been instructed by his agent, Dan Fegan, not to speak about anything regarding the Kings, their new ownership or their management.

"No comment," Cousins replied when asked about his thoughts on the Kings' new regime, which includes majority owner Vivek Ranadive, GM Pete D'Alessandro and coach Mike Malone.

Cousins will participate on the U.S. Select team this offseason."

He has his eyes set on that $$$$

He is totally becoming the next Harden. Cousins is going to want that max contract and I'm not sure Sacramento gives it to him. We can only hope the Kings ship him out for pennies on the dollar like the Thunder did with Harden. Plus, I'm positive he breaks out next year.

The Kings are damned. They dropped the ball on that T-Rob pick last year only to trade him for role players. At least if they would've somewhat nailed that pick they would've been in decent position to let Cousins walk next year or trade him this offseason.

bernie bickerstaff was on wfnz this morning and they asked him about the felton/may draft. he said they had a deal on the table with portland to trade #5 and #13 for #3 and it was portland who denied the trade five minutes before they picked and decided to go with the trade they accepted with utah. bernie did not pull the plug on the trade which is what we long thought.

Did Bickerstaff say who they were targeting at #3?

It was probably Marvin Williams.
